He's also not getting any decent fights he could hypothetically win to keep him in the pound for pound discussion. Ward or Lomachenko seem likely candidates. I picture Gonzalez picking up a loss or two and tumbling down people's pound for pound ladders, maybe before he even reaches 50-0. That seems to be the barrier a lot of fighters hit and he's so close.
