The obvious candidate is Golovkin because he already has three belts but if Saunders continues to hold the WBO hostage. But after that we have Kovalev/Ward with three belts, Tyson fury/Vlad with WBO/WBA, Lebedev with the WBA/IBF, Jack/Degale with the WBC/IBF, any thoughts?
Good chance it will be Golovkin, maybe even this year if the Jacobs fight falls trough. Kovalev vs Pimp is a problem, and if Ward beats Kova that would even be a bigger problem to get the fight made. I think it will take a while before we'll see the HW belts back together after resplintering, and SMW belt unification wouldn't be easy too. As for Golovkin, BJS claims he has a pen and maybe even a towel, where Eubank Jr has none of those.
I actually think the SMW division looks the easiest for Degale if he beats Jack, then I think he beats Sturm/Chudinov and Ramirez in my opinion but that's if those fights get made.
Fair enough I thought undisputed meant all 4 belts, You might be right but maybe the definition has changed coz I've never heard of GGG described as undisputed and I can't imagine you could be undisputed without one top name on your resume that's crazy,I know they all ducked him but never the less that's still crazy.
Ward will have the same issue as GGG... will BJS fight GGG after making videos about fighting in a field, and will the Pimp come to the table to put that strap on the line after he sees Ward beat Kovalev? Who knows.
Any time someone gets close, one of the organizations will strip him of the belt because he didn't fight some bull**** mandatory or has an overdue library book.
No it isn't. IBF+WBA+WBC was enough back in the day when the WBO was conidered a minor belt, but nowadays it's all 4 (IBF+WBA/C/O). If you miss one of the big 4, no matter how many smaller ones you collected with it, you're not undisputed. So, having WBO/WBA/WBC/IBO/IBC/WBF/IBA/GBU while missing the IBF for instance, won't be enough to be considered "undisputed". Even if it's vacant.
