In Hatton's prime he was mostly fighting superfeatherweights and him being a light middle when he gets in the ring.
Sugar Ray Robinson was phenominal, Hatton was pretty good. Big difference. Khan may never have Hatton's success, who kows? But he has a lot more boxing ability than Hatton. End of.

    'lightmiddle'

'mostly fighting superfeatherweights' there's no answer to that!

this so called abiltity of khan's got him put on his arse by boxing non-entities! its only because roach got hold of him that khan has learnt the art of chin guardianship! hatton has much more raw ability than amir will ever have.

I don't know wha you're laughing at, Hatton's above 147 when he rehydrates no question and if you don't think he was fighting super feathers or lightweights then I can only suggest you either dig out some videos or look at his record.
Khan might never prove to be as good a fighter as Hatton, may never have his success, may lose if they ever fight but the fact remains he has more boxing ability than Hatton. I don't know why you find this so hard to understand, Hatton's beaten guys who had more boxing ability than him in the past: Tszyu, Castillo, Collazo...there's three examples off the top of my head.

Enzo is a hugely underrated trainer!! Were Ricky to ask Enzo to train him, he would be making a wise decision!

Sorry Socrates mate, but I totally disagree with you.

Amir Khan imo does possess greater boxing ability than Ricky Hatton.

    Amir has two problems.

    1) That damn tin-foil beard of his.

    2) He is not a devastating puncher, which makes him even more vulnerable.

But, based on pure boxing ability, Khan does possess the greater skills.
