Erken Teper. Wouldn't be a bad choice but he is not rated by the WBC therefore he can't be an option. I don't know when the new ratings are released but I would think since the WBC is in Haymon's pocket drop Perez and promote Charles Martin. Two American heavyweights would actually draw a little interest. We'll see.

You mean...whoever he choose or put in front of him to make him look good? Bambi has some nice skills when use it well but you cannot buy a chin.

Szpilka has just signed to fight Consuegra on August 14th card. This will rule him out. With him and Arreola off the table it's really interesting to see who he will fight next. Does Jennings have a deal with HBO? If not maybe he gets the call. Good fight.,

What happened to people winning the euro strap getting a shot at the wbc belt?
I must be wrong but for some reason I thought winning the euro title bumped you into the wbc title race?
Sosnowski getting a shot at vitali comes to mind

Wilder has refused to fight Vlad...............................Arreola looked the worst I have even seen him fight, Could that be because he wanted to look bad so he could get a fight with Wilder? Wilder will fight the worst fighter he can find.........................he did not have to fight his mandatory and will not fight his mandatory............never................Sconiers will perhaps get a rematch?

Teper just won the EBU belt, so I guess he will be in Top15 soon, as the WBC and the EBU have some kind of connection (like WBA/PABA, IBF/USBA...)

I guess it will be Arreola, because he looked bad in his last fight.

Molina got the shot against Wilder because he got KOed by Arreola in the first round. He wouldn't have got this chance, if Molina had knocked out Arreola ;)

Within the WBCs Top15 it won't be those guys:
Povetkin, Joshua, Glazkov, Jennings, Browne, Ruiz, Takam, Perez

Either they are HBO-fighters or they are considered to be too dangerous.

Stiverne and Molina won't get a rematch.

The only "dangerous" fighter Haymon would allow to fight against Wilder are his own fighters. Szpilka or Thompson might get the fight with Wilder.

Duhaupas might be a decent opponent ... but not too strong.

Fujimoto has a level of skill, that might fit to Wilder.

Another possibility is, that Mark de Mori get's from #16 into the WBC's Top15 and the title shot.

At the end I guess #17 Billy "Bronco" Wright will be promoted to #15 and Wilder will fight that 50 year old 320lb dude.

    Someone outside the top 20

After all he's a WBC champion, champions shouldn't fight people in the top 20, isn't it how it works?
