Everyone is so exciting about Golovkin. I would like to see him competing with tough guys at 160 only. Don't try to move up and go down like Ray Leonard did because it's not good for your health.

He will lose the WBA belt if he doesn't fight GG next, it looks like he will because his promoter said Soliman will be Geale's next opponent

the MW division is, in my view, currently the most interesting of all the divisions

Quillin, Martinez, GG, Angulo, Felixia, Geale or N'Jikam just to name the top, all of those guys against one another are at least decent match-ups

What the hell is this? I really hate to see this. The guy who's just got the World Title is now preparing himself to duck someone.

    Doesn't Geale have heart?

As of right now,the middleweight title is the most exciting in boxing!

    Martinez,
    Chavez
    Golovkin
    Geale
    Pirog
    Quillin
and even other really good contenders.

Theres so many great fights that can be made right now

Well, this division was rather poor lately. Only Chavez Jr in 2-3 equal fights against Martinez! Martinez is hugely underrated and Golovkin overrated.

I think the middleweight division has been doing good for a while. Hopkins had people paying attention again after he dismantled Trinidad. Then a young Jermain Taylor beat Hopkins and held the belt til he fought Pavlik. Pavlik kept people watching til he got handled by Hopkins. Then you had Williams and Martinez move up and fight at middleweight. Martinez handling Pavlik then the huge one punch KO over Williams in the rematch. Now you got entertaining fighters in Martinez, Pirog, JCC jr., Golovkin, and Geale. Middleweight division is going to really have some entertaining fights in the next few years.

None of these guys are gonna be fighting at MW this time next yr except Pirog.

Sir Gayo will fight Floyd after JR KHTFO, then retire.

JR will move up to SMW directly after the fight.

Golovkin MUST pursue him, but he will likely take another 3 fights at LMW and MW before moving up.

Pirog is a great fighter, but I don't think I'd favor him over Proska.

Proska is young, strong, fast and showed great heart last time out. I think he's the future of MW in the short term, ie next 2-3 yrs.:think
