    Golden boy should feed Canelo Saunders as was initially planned 4 the WBO & pizz on GEE... BJS will get a bigger payday than Vs. Alfred E.... Yeah he will get KTFO Vs. either guy but fugg it, take the payday Vs. RED.

    Whoever he fights next will only have a ten to twenty percent chance of winning because Oscar and Canelo are playing this boxing business angle to the max. He can't afford to lose because GGG is his cash out fight. He really wants GGG in 2018 because that would give him a better shot at winning. He is leaving 154 because there are no more easy targets there. Now he gonna pick his way around the soft part of 160 until the GGG fight is made.

    It's what happens when you're the "face of boxing". You can pick and choose your opponents. Tyson, DLH, Floyd, Pac all did it(some to greater effect than others)

    There is only one problem with that, well maybe two or three but the first one is that Canelo is not the face of boxing.

    In regards to Canelo vs Lemieux or Monroe, it makes sense to me. We know damn well he wont fight GGG anytime soon.

    So throwing him in against a common opponent creates interest from both sides (fans wise) and gives people a gauge of where he sits against someone of GGG's size.

    HBO wants them to have common opponents for the September 2017 fight.

    His next fight is supposed to be on regular HBO, so hopefully it's a top 10 ranked fighter at 154,( maybe Charles Hatley though he is not ranked in the WBO) or a MW fight with BJS for THE WBO MW belt. I wouldn't mind the Hatley fight honestly, or even Monroe at 160.

    If canelo stays at 154, he'll probably fight a top 15 ranked opponent who's either feather fisted, weak chinned or stationary. The Charlo brothers, Andrade, j-rock are too risky.

    And if canelo goes to 160, he'll fight a soft ggg leftover.

    Why would he fight Lara and Trout, he already beat them both.(I'm ok with the Andrade fight).

    If they are serious about fighting GGG in 09/17 he should prepare for him by fighting strong, come-forward types.

    Perfect scenario would be both GGG and Canelo double bill with each fighting the others leftovers in Dec. Something like Canelo vs Lemieux and GGG vs Lara.

    Canelo-lemieux and ggg-lara as a precursor to ggg canelo would be interesting. It would get boxing media and fans talking.

    I'd be disappointed if canelo fights guys like Hatley. It's like Canelo is content with fighting the Liam smith's of the world and call himself the best.
