That's ultimately a large grudge he holds with Cotto fans because of the "Cotto put FMJ into retirement"...it's just a bitter resentment.

We celebrated for that fight because it was evident that he hasn't completely lost it. He did what he was supposed to do and that's great. Had he done anything short of that, he would've been ridiculed by dicks like p4p

As bad as Berto is, if I was Cotto's management team I wouldn't put him in there with Berto.

Cotto often leans foward too much, and considering Berto's best and seemingly most powerful punch is his right uppercut that he delivers as he takes a step back from his opponent and lets his opponent comes to him, and Cotto's weak chin.......

Well you get the picture. It might be an upset.

First, let me tell you how much of a joke that PPV was. I live in CA, LA area. The commercial that was going around for this fight, it said "...as Pavlik makes his comeback after his loss to legendary Bernard Hopkins" & "...as Cotto makes his comeback"

Thats how much of a "joke" those two fights were, their opponents names weren't even listed, or their pictures weren't even shown. This card was a joke, admit it.

Second of all, there's no explaining anything to Cotto lovers. I tried explaining to Cotto lovers back in 07 that he was overrated, but they didn't wanna listen. I tried explaining that Cotto would lose to AM, they told me to f_ck off. When you have your head so far up a fighters @ss, there's no "explaining" anything to them.

Yes, ppl were praising Cotto as if he was second to GOD.
Yes, as we speak, ppl are going around praising Cotto for destroying Jennings(part time boxer/drummer, 42nd best WW, never fought in the US before, 21/1 underdog). As we speak, ppl are clearly stating that Cotto is back in the top 10 p4p list for sure.

Yes, he did what he was supposed to do in that fight, he destroyed the Jennings the way he was supposed to. He should get credit for showing that he hasn't lost anything but his 0, and that it seems that he has recovered physically & mentally. But saying this win puts him back in the p4p list, or Cotto is back and SSM & AM better watch out is going overboard IMO. If he wasn't in anyone's p4p list before the fight, he shouldn't be in the list now. I didn't give PW any credit for beating Verno, and I'm a big PW fan. It's only fair.

I hate when new boxing fans join ESB and just start saying what sounds good.

I doubt Cotto will be chosing his opponent.

judge him and reply on what he says.

don'øt dismiss someone because you're insecure and have to use this as an excuse.

challenege what he has to say.

It will probably be between Berto and Clottey. I know maybe Cintron makes the most sense financially but for me its the least interesting because as much as i would love to see Kermit Lloron fold under pressure, Clottey and Berto make for interesting fights which IMO are not that easy.

First of all, we're not talking about the PPV event, or the event in it's self. We all know Arum will try to suck as much money as he can from the public, that's not the topic. Second of all, you're telling me you tried explaining Cotto lovers back in 07. So I ask you, since every time you say "you guys" you include me, how come I don't remember you explaining anything at all. I just remember you being like you are now except that back then we had more Floyd threads and you probably felt happier. But who cares, let's say I never read any of the times you tried explaining the Cotto lovers, but you really did. That means that now you're not trying to explain anything and you are indeed trolling every thread that has the Cotto name in it and you are sinking to their level.

You really think Cintron would bring more cash than Berto? What, do you think it is the Puerto Rican thing?

Berto has a fairly big name now.

I think its the whole PR parade deal that would make Cintron-Cotto a good financial deal. If it was another date Cintron aint ****. Berto brings a belt, hes undefeated and like you said hes fairly a big name now.
