He said he is not retiring and only wants big fights but no huge names in the Cruiser division to get fans excited at the moment, he might have to fight someone at a catch weight.

Chad Dawson looks to be on the slide and Green is past his best, this could be a good fight.

Tarver is looking for a fight maybe a rematch?
If he offered good money he could he could get Kessler to move up to 185?

    Maybe Jean Pacal?

his running away from tarver. Tarver has said for months now on twitter that the ibo has promised him a shot at the cruiserweight title next.

Green options was to fight tarver or give up his belt. I think he choose wisely tbh because his not nearly good enough to compete with someone like tarver. Even through tarver is 40 odd

Dawson at 185. Dawson has a good resume, suspect chin and is on the downward spiral. Should still be too good for Danny but at 185 Green would be a live underdog. He is not a big earner so Green could easily get him out here.

Agree, Green v Dawson at 185 is a good fight.

I can def see Green trying to lure Kessler to 185 for a fight.

Spot on. Green could never tell the truth, evident with his lies the next day of the Briggs fight and yet he is doing it again, if he didn't have to fight Tarver next up he would drag out some bum and defend his title against him. All this talk about a big name is just a distraction from the truth. He still has nightmares about the beating Tarver put on him, you would think if Green was suss that Tarver cheated against him then now was the time to seek his revenge but he knows that it will be another 50 yrs before he could beat Tarver.

They are calling Green , Danny Pink on Tarvers twitter account mocking him like the girl he is for dropping the belt to avoid Tarver.

Says he only wants the big fights, drops the IBO belt to avoid fighting Tarver, Danny Booshay will never change his hand picking Dannyweight ways.

That is so childish yet funny.
Are the IBO really going to let a drug cheat fight for the belt first up?

    notsureifsrs :huh

The IBO's condition for Dannys next defense is that its against Tarver, why do you think Dannys droped the belt? nek minut you will tell me Tarver isn't fighting for the IBO belt when its stripped from Danny

Kessler at 185lbs regardless of belt would be a sell out in any state.... Great fight.

I agree Danny is a coward for running from this fight and I know he's served his sentence but you would think that the IBO would not let a drug cheat fight for the title first up after serving his sentence. Then again it's the IBO they're not very credible.

I have no idea why the IBO have made this a condition of his defense either, it could be they are giving Tarver a 2nd chance as he protested his innocence, it wouldn't be the first time an org has done this, just look at the IBF in ref to Soliman as an example, perhaps not as blatant but there is other examples just as blatant as Tarvers offense.

Tarver v Green II would be huge imo and a chance for Green to redeem himself but we both know Tarver with or without drugs still woops Danny Green and im pretty sure Green knows this as well.

Green is yellow. Tarver-Green II would be enormous the fight promotes itself. And also would make a ton of money and give Green a chance to avenge a loss. Green only wants to rematch guys fighting 3 divisions below him or weak champions like Beyer. A disgrace to Australia and spitting in the eye of the IBO and Phil Austin who has defended him on boxing forums and sanctioned fights for him that are mismatches.
Siaca,Briggs,Flores weak fights. I bet he targets Dawson after he gutlessly ducked him to fight Siaca now Dawson has been brutally KTFO n his last 2 fights. I hope so even at Dannyweight and even though he's been destroyed in his last 2 fights he would still easily defeat Green even at Dannyweight.

Dawson would flog Green worse than Tarver did. Austin shouldn't be suprized by this, the IBO to green was just a means to an end and the IBO have made their fair share of money from being so complacent when it comes to Greens match ups. Green is pretty much done now in my books, only way this guy keeps going is due to his brain washed fans who haven't got a farkn clue when it comes to boxing, without their support Green wouldn't have a leg to stand on anymore.
