Chisora as an undercard to AJ would look best option ..or Fury might take him on.As bad as he was last night he would still look better on a Fury comeback CV than some no name Fury is likely to be fighting next ..infact I see Fury seeing him as a an easy win the way Haye saw Bellow as an easy payday .. I'd prefer he retired he looks good awfully last night ..I have to wonder of McGuigan knew he was shot and that's why they split .I have to question what Salas saw in Haye as other than being lighter I didn't see much improvement from the first fight
Decision should be taking out his hands by the boxing board of control. You can't fight anywhere near that level with injuries. When it gets to the stage you can't really spar. You can't hit the pads properly. Your jabs struggling. Your right hand/shoulders struggling. Your legs struggling. Your out. The reality is they should have stopped the rematch going ahead if they we,re a serious outfit. Pretty sure I seen a video of haye a couple of weeks after the injury that stopped the initial rematch taking place...the bicep injury. Said it was about tweny percent atm after the operation. Surgeon said six weeks it should be about fixed. How can you have a training camp with that. Six weeks would have took him up to the fight anyway. As it stands....his right shoulders knackered. Left biceps struggling. Achilles is struggling. One of them injuries alone...is enough to make a massive difference. At 37 your not gonna get round one of them let alone three of them. If he doesnt decide to call it a day...the decision should be taking out his hands. Chisora, fury, whyte or any half serious fighter will beat him now. Charles martin would probably beat him. You can't fight with them types of injuries...when you can't train properly at that age. He was done by the end of the second round and bellew never really laid anything on him at that point.
Haye was so adamant about retiring at 30. "I see what boxing too long does to people, they start to stutter, they're boxing because they're broke. I am smarter than that. I will make lots of money before my 30th birthday and then never come back. Mark my words." Now look at him. If he continues to box then he's merely a journeyman, a guy who gets paid to lose who lives off his old reputation.
Knowing haye he probably didn't announce his retirement post fight because he will want to make a big announcement about it and have a huge celebrity filled retirement party celebrating his career etc
Bellew 1 and 2 purse's could set him up for life no probs, and he's always pulled good numbers even against the 2 before Bellew. Unless he's stupid with it i'm sure its more than enough to stay away and retire.I think Haye's money problems that people talk about are maybe exaggerated a little, how would anyone know what hes got and hasn't got
D-Whyte calling him out This content is protected Ideally Haye needs to try and blag himself a place on the seniors circuit and see if they can find an opponent on there whose body is in just as wretched shape as his is. Preferably someone in their late 90s who is confined to a wheelchair and needs assistance to wipe their own ass.
Dustin Nichols maybe ? Athough i suspect that check jab would leave this version of Haye unconscious.
