Hold your horses, Adamek has not proven himself to be better than Chagaev, Chambers or Povetkin and he is only 2 years younger than Wladimir.

 

The problem is that it looks like Wlad could dominate for the next 5 years.

Some of the guys who are pretty good now will be too old to unify. Povetkin will be 36-37 by the time Wlad moves out of the way. Solis will be around 400 pounds - you know how some fighters have businesses painted on their backs during fights as sponsorships? Solis will have the whole ****ing yellow pages. Adamek will also be old and I don't think he has the size or natural attributes to make a dominant heavy champion (apart from cheen)

Boystov is a possibility. He will still be under 30 years old and will have lots of experience. Other than that, I don't think anyone is really standing out. But they all have years to start building up to the point where they are ready.
I agree that 2018 seems like the year when we are next likely to see a unified dominant champ that isn't names Klitschko.
