There are a lot of hot prospects out there, but many may be hyped beyond their abilities. (See Ronald Hearns) Who will fall first?
I won't count the world Champions... Berto , Haye ect. But out of the contender's i'd have to say, hands down Chris Arreola. (I'd Replace Berto/Haye with Victor Ortiz, Angullo or Gamboa)
Froch and Haye next fights are against tough oposition,so maybe one of them will be the first to fall even though Haye has already lost once.
Wow, it doesn't take much to be called a nuthugger anymore. Those were the guys I could think of off the top of my head.
Most of the ones listed aren't even prospects. They are contenders or fringe contenders in their divisions.
...to awnser your question jr is over when he fights someone with a pulse. hes a b class fighter at best
James Kirkland, all it will take is a measured, couter puncher with a decent chin to reveal the many flaws he has.
I want Berto to fall first, but like Chavez JR he will be protected long enough that he gets three or four fights before he relinquishes that belt to someone who deserves it. It'll have to be Froch, who isn't really a 'prospect' as such, but is going into a tough match so soon after winning the belt (in tougher but not entirely different circumstances to Berto) and will probably lose it. Though I think it'd be fantastic if Froch destroyed Taylor in the States. Won't happen though, he'll get his ears boxed off, and even though he seems to have a very, very sturdy chin and Taylor wasn't a big hitter even at MW, I'm going out on a limb here......I think Taylor stops him. More of an accumulation due to Froch not firing back than anything else, or a cut. Just a funny feeling, not based on anything tactics wise. As I say, I hope Froch knocks Taylor clean, but can't see it happening. I think his power is overrated.
