It's only a few months away now, I imagine some undercard fights will be announced soon. I hope to see a few heavyweight fights, involving a few of the following: Parker, Anderson, Ajagba, Kabayel, Zhang, Chisora, Hrgovic, Torrez, Clarke, Joyce, Wallin, Itauma, Makhmudov and Wardley. Matchups I'd like to see: Parker-Kabayel Ajagba-Anderson Zhang-Bakole Hrgovic-Joyce Torrez-Makhmudov Wilder-Jalalov
I would not be shocked to see Chisora-Whyte or Chisora-Wilder. I heard that Turki was trying to make Wilder-Jalalov, if I got that right. But I don't think it will happen.
Itauma vs Wardley for the British title would be good. A random fight I've always wanted to see is Bakole vs Zhang. Apparently they were trying to make that fight in Saudi last year, so if Bakole beats Anderson that fight could happen. Parker vs Kabayel? All depends on if Zhang and Parker have their rematch or not.
I made this thread in July, and now we are well into September. The fight is three months away. Anybody know who might be on the undercard?
Nothing is confirmed yet. Its frustrating but i imagine they have something big. A Zhang-Parker rematch wouldn't surprise me at all. I imagine they will try to do at least 1-2 big heavyweight fights on the undercard. After all, they won't be able to get a LHW title fight after Beterbiev-Bivol by December, Crawford probably won't be on it, Canelo isn't with them, they don't really have a ton of options outside of heavyweight.
I've got this niggly little feeling that the main event is not 100% guaranteed too happen. I'm in a cheerful optimistic mood tonight...
That would explain why no undercard fights are yet scheduled. I wouldn't be shocked if Fury backed out, or feigned an injury to delay the fight for another several months, to waste Usyk's time.
Parker-Zhang II. Wilder-Chisora. Madrimov-Bohachuk. Itauma-Vianello. Most Saudi cards were announced a month before the event. I don't think there is anything to worry about yet.
