As you remember way back when Floyd stinks the joint with Baldomir & Pac looks Great after his KO of Morales in third fight, I said that Pac will be the torch bearer of boxing after DLH retires.

Fast forward today, DLh still fighting & It seems like he already Passed the PPV king torch to PBF. Pac is still there next to the Top & His star is still rising. But looking forward, Floyd seems like interested only on Making his own money without fighting the best. He's announcing his retirement everytime he won against a guy everybody knows he's going to beat. While Pac already rematches JMM & willing to take on Bigger guys like Hatton & DLH which is the same guys that make PBF become the Money May.

So who will fill the Void after DLH???

I think I'm still in the right track with my prediction that it will be Pac. On his next fight he will fight an English speaking opponent in Diaz. That Fight has Historical significance. I think the Pac-Hatton fight will definitely Happen sooner than Later. Then DLH after that which will complete the Turnover. Floyd will definitely still be up there but it depends on his Cajones. He can't duck Cotto for that much longer.

I have a feeling that if Pavlik by some chance would beat Calzaghe by KO, he would be a superstar in America.

PBF is already the torch bearer, even while ODLH is still active.

Whether you like him or not, it is what it is

Larry King live, Dancing with the stars, WWE, over 3.5 million PPV buys in 1 year, all that = PBF is the face of boxing to the outside world

Lots of guys are on their way out, DLH, Trinidad, Jones Jr., Hopkins. I think the next mega stars for the sport are Miguel Cotto and Kelly Pavlik.

But how long can Floyd keep the fire Burning???

I think Pac-PBF could happen after Pac-Hatton, then PBF can finally pass the torch to Pac.:hey

As this time Pac is a much Bigger PPV Draw than those 2. Pavlik need to KO Bhop & Calzaghe & Cotto needs to KO Floyd to overtake Pac as the Top Draw after DLH.

Not yet..because DLH still has it. It will be only passed when DLH finally retires.

Let's say DLH announced his retirement after Pac Beat him.

What's next for Pac??? There's only one left...PBF!!! This could be a Trilogy. Whoever comes on top will be the Torch bearer.

Pac is the younger guy, The more exciting style. Pac said he Plans to fight for 3 more years. Floyd always announce his retirement.

Pac has more exciting Dance partner on the horizon. There's Khan, Linares, Gamboa as future fresh opponents. There's JMM's rematch, There's the Lightweight unification. There's Hatton, DLH & PBF.

Floyd only got his rematch with Hatton & DLH which no one want to see anymore. He also has Cotto & Margarito, but he don't want that fight.

    As usual, you're overselling PAC.

The way I see it, PAC has reached his peak(ppv wise) and will stay around the 300-400K ppv buys unless he has a good dance partner(JMM, Hatton etc.)

Right now the most exciting fighters IMO are Pac, Pavlik and Cotto(you can add Margarito), and either of them can take the PPV leadership with their next couple of fights but noone will come close to DLH for a while!

So who it will be after DLH??? Pavlik & Cotto's PPV hasn't reach what Pac's PPV Numbers yet even if they are the Bigger fighters. Right now the Biggest PPV Draw are DLH, Floyd, Pac, & Hatton. Look at picture Pac has the chance to fight all those on Top. All he need is to look good against them & the torch will be his.

PBF doesn't get all thsoe PPV buys himself his last two fights have been against two of the most popular people in boxing in Ricky Hatton and ODLH that has a lot to do with PPV sales.

    That one I agree!!!

Imagine Floyd vs JMM at 130 lbs??? How many PPV buys you think that fight can make??? I even doubt if HBO will put it in PPV.

The same can be said about Pac. He is a high profile fighter mainly because of his exciting style but let's not forget all his highest selling fights owe a lot to his opponent's names!

If Pac fought for 147 titles against Judah o Baldomir, do you think it can beat PBF's 350K PPVs??? How much do you think a Pac-Gatti(135/140) fight will sell on PPV??
