Floyd is filling his pocket, not any void.

As far as the casual fans who know nothing about boxing it will impact but for those few hardcore fans who view all fights and look for the good matchup there are still tons of quality and interesting fights to be made. I have moved on long ago and DLH means nothing to me I dont even follow or watch that caravan anymore. DLH VS Margarito or a Forrest yes that would pique my interest but this drivel againts Forbes and PBF. Mosely is still a Warrior and I admire what he brings to the table. The boxing game will still be interesting but the quality fighters have to fight quality opposition.

It will be Cotto after Mayweather, who has taken over for De La Hoya (though not as successfully).

Pacquiao won't be able to do it. His numbers even now aren't high enough to pass Mayweather, and while PacD is laying out a plan for him to fight Hatton and Mayweather and pass the torch, even if it came to fruition and somehow Pacquiao won those 2 fights, it would be the end of his career. You can't pass the torch onto a retiring fighter.

Umm, Shanes void was filled a long time ago. The guy is not a big draw and hasn't been relevant for some time.

Floyd is filling a huge void. He's the only prime fighter who people actually recognize.

To answer your question PacD, I'd have to say Rey Bautista.

I respect Conte. He's doing his part to clean up the mess that he started. I just wish these athletes would stop lying and blaming others.

On a more serious note, do you think AJ Banal will have a more successful career than Boom Boom? I've seen only clips of Banal, so I can't give an accurate assessment of his style or give an educated opinion as to how he'll fare when he steps it up.

First of all, there's no void for him to fill. DLH is still fighting. He's the #1 man. And time will tell if Mayweather can fill it. WIth the way he;s acting and **** he's saying, he might not ever fill that void when DLH retires.
