Youve never competed in MMA and im guessing youve probably never competed in combat sports period. Floyd "Steamrolling" a faded and exhausted Conor in the 9/10th in boxing is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. Thats where your reason that Floyd has a chance comes from? Conor McGregor would toy with Floyd Mayweather in a MMA match but maybe Floyd really loves money that much that he may take it. Its funny because they said Conor wouldnt land a single punch on Floyd, i would bet my life Floyd lands less that 10 strikes in the whole 1 minute that this fight lasts. Conor wins this fight whatever way he wants. He could choke Floyd out, he could stand and trade with Floyd on the feet.. Easy work. Floyd is a 41 year old retired boxer. If you think for one moment that a guy with 0 MMA experience has a chance to go into a cage with a guy who is 10+ years his younger, has the best timing and fight IQ in MMA worldwide... I love Floyd but he has literally next too 0% chance of beating Conor McGregor in a MMA bout.
He should fight demetrious Johnson in mma for 100 mill a piece Not my cup of tea but this comical shyte sells theses days What a world we live in
i used to agree with u on this topic, but there alot of variables. its all about what boxer. how many boxers out there today growing up wrestled in there lives or took karate, ju jitsu , tae kwan do , or kick box for example. those guys chances are much better. but if u just eat sleep an box ur whole life those guys might have a difficult time. floyd is a boss. great competitor . but hes to old . hes very smart tho . if he were going to go to mma he would learn how to do other things rather then box . he would be prepare himself well but however hes too old not enough time to train and learn or take a tune up or two.
Floyd is really uninteresting in competitive boxing at this point. He can't compete with top boxers anymore. Only thing he can do is exhibition bouts, that's about it.
First off, no lol, nice try. Sylvia was cut from the UFC and never fought in a major promotion again. He weighed around 260 in his prime and was 300 lbs. essentially every fight after Fedor. Toney went on to fight for the Cruiserweight title. Also, learns some grappling? You realize many of these MMA guys were collegiate level and even olympic level wrestlers? Not to mention, what in the world is a boxer going to do when kicked? There is no way you have wrestled before if you don't understand this. If someone is a superior wrestler to you, it's like drowning. There is nothing you can do to stop them. The biggest problem with boxing fans (I am one) is they think it's so easy to just punch an MMA fighter. The distance is completely different. Of course it's a fight, anything can happen. Same goes for McGregor-Mayweather. But the game is entirely different. You think Floyd knows how to check a leg kick? Defend a takedown? Defend submissions from any angle? No. Even if Conor stood with Floyd, he can land kicks, elbows, knees, etc. One kick to the leg and Floyd is dropping like a ton of bricks. See my above post. Your guys logic is basically "landing a strong punch". MMA fighters have too many variables. I'm not trying to be offensive, just realistic.
Floyd tooled 10rounds with Mcnuggets,it was a show. Clear as day,Floyd could have TKO'ed Mcgregor in 1. But fans paid 100$ so Floyd put up a Show. Also Mcgregor saved his face for future megapay. It was win win for both
