Can't see it being any one that will case him a problem though i did mention on a previous thread how about Pianeta or Wach both been in with Wladamir and only one that has a defeat over them.
Povetkin is nothing close to Wlad style-wise. I think Fury would be smart to get a beatable guy who is tall and rangy. Rather than Povetkin who is far too dangerous for Fury at this point for next to no reward.
He's already earned his spot as WBO mandatory. Why take a huge risk like that? I think there is actually a good chance he sits out until he gets his title fight in June/July. If he actually does fight someone in February it's going to be someone who doesn't pose much risk.
I believe Solis-Thompson is re-scheduled for Jan. Fury can take it easy and fight someone like Malik Scott, Dimitrenko or Charr or step it up to Arreola or Lucas Browne. No way he would risk fighting someone like Povetkin.
Before people react too hard to whoever Fury fights as a stay busy fight before his title fight, remember Wilder fought a washed up journeyman with 18 losses, that didnt train, had no power, and was 50 lbs over weight Jason Gavern. And that was one of Wilder's best wins.
Still fighting Povetkin doesn't make that much sense anyways. I wouldn't favour Fury in a fight against Povetkin he's highly skilled. A fight against someone easier Like Christian Hammer, Arreola, browne etc.
he'll prob take on some bum , but if Fury and Wilder fight gets made, I'm positive Wilder will win by KO . I think Wilder is a glass jawed can crusher, but he's a nightmare opponent for anybody without power and bad defence and Fury is easy to hit he also lacks power , I think Fury would outbox Wilder until wilder lands something and I'm sure he'd land on fury pretty easy.
