If Fury's clever he'll fight someone who is still a credible opponent, like Ruiz, because it will give fans less room to moan, but even then I don't see it going down well. Despite Ruiz being a top 10 heavy, he's still seen as a joke over here due to his appearance for AJ2. Whether you like it or not Usyk IS a household name in the UK now. Clowns arguing that he couldn't sell out the O2 on his own are missing the point. It's not necessarily Usyk's commercial worth that matters, it's the exposure he's had since 2018 If Fury legitimately wants to avoid Usyk and minimise damage to his stock, then I would unironically advise him to fight Ngannou, and I'm not even joking. Problem is, after Fury beats Francis, he's back to square-one. Sadly, the best fight right now for Fury is Usyk and the best fight right now for Usyk is Fury. It just is what it is I think Shane Fury said it best: fight the best or retire. Him and Peter balance out Tyson's and John's bollocks

"The heavyweight champion should be from Britain or America. Nowhere else." Lol. Apart from this being one of the most idiotic things even from him, Primo Carnera, Max Schmeling, Ingemar Johansson, the Klitschkos, Valuev, Maskaev, Chagaev, Povetkin, Stiverne etc. say hello.
I have a feeling Fury gives Usyk a miss. I don't think Fury fancies it, I really don't.. If I was forced to have a bet on his next opponent.. I would pick Frank Sanchez
