Many fighters fight half of their careers and most of their fights as prospects at a lbs or 2 above their chosen weight classes. Why should Canelo be persecuted for this?

He fought Cotto a career Welter/Jr Middle for a meaningless title it doesn't make him obligated to do anything.

Canelo has the GGG fight any time he wants it, Team GGG are eager to fight but won't come down a mere 5lbs which is a weight they claim he can comfortably make?

Such a close poll I am surprised by this, I like all the 5 listed options and even if it were to be a Andy Lee, Quillin, Chavez jr, Gilberto these are all good fights to look forward to.

Heiland and Johnson don't really do anything for me but Khurtsidze, Khytrov or Murata would be decent as well. 160 and the surrounding divisions do have good talent.

Charlos, Andrade, Lubin are big big 154lbers, probably make the majority of the 160 division look small when they go up, I think they are all bigger than Canelo tbf!!!!

Because he keeps saying he isn't scared and that's the fight he wants. All boxing fans want it. It's the biggest fight in boxing. Time to prove he's not just talking bs

I am a big fan of GGG and Canelo, but Canelo's resume speaks for itself he's afraid of no one. Even at the young age of 25 he has taken risks and has made concessions to get the big fights.

He was willing to go down to 152 when he's a big 154lber to make the Floyd fight. He took a 20-80 split to fight Cotto when he is arguably the A-Side.

Canelo is not being a diva he is just playing the game and trying to get a little advantage any way he can. The fight will happen but the longer it draws out the better for him financially and al so in the ring as GGG is not young.

Canelo is not the first and wont be the last calling for concessions, IMO he thinks he's paid his dues and now he's the biggest name in boxing that's due some concessions.

Mexican fighters & fans are very proud of their reputation as FIGHTERS!!! with cojones of steel To be called a coward is the ultimate insult to a REAL Mexican. Obviously neither Oscar nor Canelo can consider themselves MEXICAN!!! Mexican fans themselves named Canelo El Pollo The Chicken. He will NEVER lose that stigma.
