I think its certain that should Floyd beat JMM he will fight the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto next.

Who do you think will give Mayweather the tougher challenge? Who would he struggle with the most and why?

Both of these guys are flawed fighters and I would favor PBF over both. With that said if Cotto fights smart he gives PBF the harder fight why because he actually has a jab and a dedicated body attack. Pac has no jab and is extremely aggressive this will play right into PBF's hands as that it will allow him more countering chances. Pac also can't fight backing up nor is he a good inside fighter all of which you need to beat PBF.

Good points..but I think pac has the one thing that will give pbf hell, That fast straight left hand. I dont think Pbf rolling with the punches will neutralize that punch. Then again pbf adjusted to judah's left.

I think Floyd would beat both, but that Pac is the most likely to cause more problems.

Cotto doesn't really have enough speed to beat PBF. PBF could counter him effectively and potshot him in spots. Pacquiao is much harder, because he has quick movement, good handspeed and throws combinations which PBF will have trouble avoiding.

PBF will adjust like he always does mixing up his attack behind a high guard hitting Pac with a jab to the body beating him up on the inside and hitting him with his laser like straight right hand. Pac has no jab and can be outboxed. You can't beat an elite defenisve counter-puncher like PBF without a jab it's not gonna happen.:deal

Pac based off the fact that he is a lefty, can match Floyd speed for speed and has a very high workrate.

    He wont win though.:yep

Although PBF speed would cause Cotto fits Cottos jab and timing might be able to neutralize PBF's speed. Cotto is not that bad on the backfoot either. I have always thought that Cotto would be one of Mayweathers toughest fights. Would he beat him? I dont know. Probably not but he has a very good chance.

Nobody throws combos on PBF.:deal Pac has no jab and is easy to figure out. He can't fight backwards and he will be outboxed it's really that simple. PBF will beat Pac at all ranges long because of his reach, in the pocket and in the clinch on the inside. Pac is simply not versatile enough to beat PBF and will prove it if they ever meet.

Exactly. Cotto's ability to fight off his backfoot, his jab and his body attack give him the a better chance stylistically over Pac against PBF.

    Pacquiao isn't versatile? :huh

Pacquiao's evolved into something much more than the one-dimensional, jab-left hand slugger he was. He can throw all sorts of punches now, and not just with one hand, and from different angles and positions. The way Mayweather leaves his head hanging out there and relies on slipping everything, he's bound to get tagged.

and for those reasons I think Cotto is much more capable of hurting Floyd (as impossible as that seems).

MP. He has the speed and power to give FMJ all sorts of problems much more so than Cotto.
