Who will it be, I am guessing The winner of Geale and Barker.

I think out of that list Chocalate would be the toughest test at this point

I would love to see him against Chavez Jr from an entertainment standpoint.

Might end up being Martinez. Sergio is on his retirement circuit IMO. Plus, he had already stated that GGG will be the king of the division once he is done.

Why isn't Sergio Mora in this list? Unless it's a unification fight with Martinez, I don't see who out of that list is more deserving then Mora. It is unclear if Martinez has recovered from his injuries. GGG vs Mora will not be boring. It will be exciting because Mora is a guy that could possibly survive against GGG and could test GGG's stamina. Mora could end his KO streak.

To be the king of the MWD, Golovkin needs to beat Sergio in the Unification World Cahmpionship Bout.

Winner of the upcoming Geale fight appears to be the best makeable fight which makes sense. The others won't go near him with a 10 foot pole.

jr has a chin like a horse, i think that would be a good fight! if golovkin came down to 154 i think canelo could beat him. i wouldn't doubt golovkin fights one more lower level fighter like murray before he steps up.

I'm guessing so do. I assume HBO are looking to build up to a Ward- Golovkin match at the end of next year and they likely plan to feed the winner of this to Triple G.

Whoever wins is irrelevant. They are both destined to end up the same as poor Matthew Macklin.

Would make a good uni fight, but unless the $s are very good the winner might just prefer to hang onto that shiny bauble until they get a mando.

Also if GGGs going to get 2 more fights in this year, Geale/Barker would more likely be the second of those possibly in Nov or Dec.

Murray's an option, but the sense from his comments during the fight was that he was looking in a different direction (unless he was allowed to bring a baseball bat).

Martin Murray seems the less likely to duck Golovkin seeing as he wont get another chance for a title anytime soon but even he looked a bit awestruck when Golovkin stopped Macklin

Heres the WBA rankings for Golovkin :

    1. Martin Murray
    2. Felix Sturm
    3. Jarrod Fletcher
    4. Patrick Nielson
    5. Max Burksak
    6. Gzergorz Proksa
    7. Gilberto Ramirez
    8. Andy Lee
    9. Juan Camilo Novoa
    10. Juan Ubaldo Cabrera

To be honest im quite surprised that Billie Joe Saunders isnt ranked at all, he has two fights lined up for the WBO intercontinental and a defence for his british title but holds a TKO 2 win over #3 Jarrod Fletcher and the aussie hasnt really beaten anyone of note since. Sergio Mora should also be in the running with his recent win over Proksa.

Won't fight Martínez NEXT, GGG wants 2 more fights this year, but Sergio is out for the year

If he wants to fight twice before the end of the year Sergio Mora may make the list!
