I voted Lara. The guy has the total package and he shows the poise of a veteran. Future p4p star.

It's interesting that no one is picking or mentioning Dirrell, yet Ward is tied for the lead. In many of the threads that invariably discuss how they would fare in a bout, Dirrell generally seems to be picked at least as often as Ward.

His low workrate and ability to not eat punches worry me a bit. I think he's a great prospect, but I don't see him as an elite P4P type like some of the guys on the list.

People have short memories. The most impressive recent win by any of these guys was by Ward, and thus a bunch of people are voting for him. I think he has the lowest downside of anyone on the poll, but probably also the lowest ceiling as well (other than Greene who just doesn't seem like anything special to me). Very intelligent fighter, and a good tactician, but all of his actual tools are only a little above average.

But what about all the people who were instantly trying to downplay the worth of the Miranda win and saying Dirrell would smoke him? Maybe they just haven't visited the thread yet. Perhaps their votes were taken up by Lara, Korobov, and Jacobs.

I wasn't expecting Shawn Estrada to get a vote, but I must admit that he looks physically impressive. He's built like a brick house even for a 168 pound fighter. It's good to see Mexican-American fighters campaigning at the higher weightclasses.

I think andre dirrel is the more complete fighter.. though i think ward is off to a better start. "dirrel v.s Ward" would be good for boxing whenever if ever happens.:bbb

The biggest talents are: Direll, Ward, Golovkin and Garcia. Garcia has a lot to prove mentally (not personally, but on behalf of Cubans fighting in the pro-sport without losing motivation). OF the remaining three it could be anyone... all three are huge talents.

Personally I think it will be Direll.
