No-one will be talking about Dawson this time next week.

On Saturday night Jermaine Taylor will get knocked out, and by Sunday morning the ESB orthodoxy will be that Joe Calzaghe is ducking.....Jeff Lacy.

The Americans aren't usually good at passing on the batton, but when it comes to annointing the next big thing, their technique is flawless. The torch was passed on from Lacy to Pavlik and then from Pavlik to Dawson and it would be passed on from Dawson to either Dirrell, Ward or Cloud next. If Calzaghe retires before one of the above had beaten him, he would have ducked the Annointed One, whomever he happens to be at the time. The Annointed One would have beaten up and stopped Calzaghe brutally, had they fought, but Calzaghe was too scared to face him and deserves little respect.

Froch, winner of Taylor - kessler, then itd be the winner of Pavlik - Abraham.

    Calzaghe has beat everybody.
He would not get any credit for fighting dawson like Emanuel steward said.
    So it wont happen.

Sergio Mora, man. Calzaghe only beat Manfredo jr because of a shitty stoppage and no-one is sure who would have won otherwise.
Mora beat Manfredo fair and square on the Contender, he's a former world champion and as Calzaghe has never won the Contender title it'd be a worthwhile match if he wants to improve his unimpressive resume. All the Brits on here say he's all that but he's only ever beaten euro bums like Kessler and old guys, when he takes on a fighter in his prime like Mora he's gonna get schooled, I'm picking a Mora ko6 Calslappy/Calfaggy

Oh my dear god. Please tell me you're on crack or summat.
That is the single most ridiculous comment I have ever read on these forums.
Mora is not fit to lace up joes gloves and as for the manfredo comment... he was out of his depth and wasn't throwing punches. the ref had every right to wave it off. I can't believe i'm even wasting my time replying. so I'm gonna stop now.
By the way... what's the weather like in cloud cuckoo land?

I hope it was sarcasm. I've seen lots of random garbage written in the past so it wouldn't surprise me if someone wrote something like that and meant it

    :patsch

Joe deserves to retire. He beat all whom he needed to defeat. There are no other fighters for him to face that I would like to see him with. Some people are being picky and will not donate props to him for his accomplishments. I am not a HUGE fan of his but can admit he earned his release from speculation.
