that guy was some semi pro bus driver. what does it matter what his stance is? Kessler has 46 fights. fought southpaws Calzaghe, Beyer etc he doesn´t have to fight some southpaw bus driver first to prepare for Lucy. He´ll probaly have better sparring partners in preperation for that Stieglitz fight than Bouadla. in all respect to him.. Bouadla is some tough nut, might be a nice person and took many shots etc but thb he ain´t any good and ain´t even a pro boxer actually.

Source for what? That Lucy was only interested on a fight in Montreal with his family members acting as judges and his personal bodyguard as referee?

You are used to crooked promoters: Palle and Sauerland. I understand why you think they are all liers. You don't know Interbox though. I can judge their word better than you, and believe me I'm not naive. Interbox people are less experienced and have their faults but they negociate fairly.

Read my previous post again. Everything Sauerland said is bull**** from the start. That's pretty clear. Why did he do that? To give an easy belt to Kessler while giving him another tune up fight, to face Ward first (with a belt it's easier), I can find many reasons. But he lied, that's for sure, just by the way he dealed with the WBO while supposedly negociating with Interbox and by the choice of an orthodox opponent for Kessler's return.

Bute had a lot of sympathy when he was a young fighter coming up and he fought at home and had his own (American, Southamerican or whoever needs money) referrees... people didn't mind .. because he was still learning the trade.

Now he is champion of the world... and he still has not left home turf for a serious fight. In fact he has never had a top fight.

It is natural that people don't want another Ottke... Bute will only get more and more disliked like that - and a fight on relatively neutral ground against a Pavlik who has showed absolutely nothing at 168 - will not help Bute much.

Bute's second (and perhaps biggest) problem is the delusional fans he has - I used to be one of his fight and biggest fans btw. but he needs to meet Froch abroad, Kessler abroad for me to be a fan again. I don't even care that much if he wins or losses but at least I cannot support someone who seems to have nuts the size of sand grains.

 

Of course, promoters serve their own interests. In this matter, Interbox' interests were to fight Kessler. That's why I believe them more than Sauerland in this case.

Kessler doesn't choose his opponents, that's why I'm angry at Sauerland, not at Kessler. Kessler could talk to him though... He went from Palle to Sauerland... atsch
