Why do people want to see Khan/Mayweather? Assuming Mayweather isn't very rusty and deteriorated, he would kill Khan. I think he would face a Berto but he's throwing the remainder of his best years away by being so inactive. It might catch up to him.......

Floyd should fight in somalia and dedicate his fight to the warlords who doesnt respect the law cause Floyd is essentially just like them

Lennox Lewis fought in South Africa, so why not Floyd. I have a gut feeling he is fighting in July as a promise/favor to Mandela.

Floyd isn't fighting Cotto, Martinez or Pacquiao.

Which leaves him fighting someone from the lower weight classes or someone at 147lbs who's nothing more than cannon fodder. For example Andre Berto a guy who got outboxed by Luis Collazo.

We have a source. Not like it's hard to find. Jeff Mayweather said it was in the works. That's not definite, but it tells us that it's a possibility.

What tells you that it will definitel not happen? Where have you heard this and what is giving you crazy ideas like that?

think he will stay at 147 and this will be a sort of tune up fight before he eventually fights pacman. my guess is he will fight someone like paul spadafora, paul williams(claims to wanna come back to 147) or maybe even mike jones.

He's not going to Africa. Remember that story of him going to Dubai a year ago? Didn't happen either.

He's not fighting Martinez (ever) or Pac (in his "warmup")

He's not fighting Bradley or Berto either because those fights wouldnt crack 500k ppv's. With the exception of Mayweater vs Mosley last year..it's nearly impossible to sell two african american fighters fighting one another. Especially Berto and Bradley who can't see 2000 tickets. Floyd can't take the risk of horrible ppv sales because Pacquaio is about to do monster numbers with mosley after all this CBS marketing is said and done.

    That leaves Khan and canelo.

Khan has a large fanbase that would be massive for a mayweather fight. However is has height, reach, quick feet, and yes a handspeed advantage. Freddie Roach will have his using the jab non-stop and throwing in combination.

Alvarez also has a potentially huge fanbase..and he is inexperienced, slow, and not very tall or long. Floyd is looking huge now and won't be at a large strength deficit..canelo only really has a left hook (a punch floyd always avoids) He'll also pick up the WBC belt and use it to try and force pac to make a fight at 154 (instead of a pac preferred 147)

why the f(,)ck is he fighting in africa? money may fights when big money is at stake (let's not talk about pac here). Is there any MGM or ala- LasVegas or high-PPV generating type in South Africa that could generate big $$$ for Floyd? And one more thing, does SA have a big boxing following in there?

    Impossible.
