    Golovkin or Thurman.

The PPV king will be an entertaining KO machine. Which, if you have any sense, is something that we would ALL happily pay through the nose for.

Yes guns blazing indeed.....his last two opponents had a combined age of about 90 years old.
Normally, a young fighter retires the old legend.
With Calzaghe it was the complete opposite.

If he wanted to he could have fought Taylor, Pavlik and Dawson and then gone out 'guns blazing'.

    flopjr is basically retired.

drainelo will show him the door even before his actual retirement by taking over his dates.

drainelo is new boss of cinco de mayo and september mexican holiday.

if he doesnt retire, flopjr will be looking at another flop ppv event.

Pretty much this. Floyd sycophants tend to think that someone has to win all their fights no matter what to be a big star. While Floyd has thrived with his style of smoke and mirrors, pretty much all other big money stars of boxing past lost fights - and were still superstars.

Because when the best are fighting the best, the fans are still happy. If the best fight the best, that means that elite level fighters end up taking losses occasionally because they are fighting other elite fighters.

Canelo will almost certainly lose fights. But he will still be the money guy and win more than he loses.

Calzaghes "ascension to greatness" is based on a SD over a 45 year old. If he truly was great he would have given Hopkins the rematch to truly cement his greatness

Did he do that? **** No.

    'I dont do rematches'

flopjr is already replaced by drainelo, sans his actual retirement.

at least we got rid of the boring bum, even for a few months.
