Pac was bringing in 330k buys before he beat down DLH. Mayweather-Hatton did 850k buys here in the states. Both fighters have even more recognition now and if promoted right I would be stunned if it did less than 800k buys and that would be due to the recession.

one thing that is amusing is oscars more intriguing fight with Mosley and Vargas(i am not sure with vargas) are below 500 hits, but oscar vs mayorga did better?

No one will have to. DLH will be promoting all fighters in 10 years so he'll manage to suck the fans dry before doomsday. DLH is gonna be the Bill Gates of boxing now that he won't be preoccupied with fighting. Get ready for a long journey down the rabbit whole.
Don't believe the hype - You're paying for the name, not the product!!

He's the same age as De La Hoya with 59 pro fights under his belt.

How much longer will he be around?

    Mayorga 925,000
    Vargas 900,000
    Mosley 975,000
    Trinidad 1.4 million
    Hopkins 1.1 million

    I don't know how accurate.

You don't think there will be another mainstream superstar on the level of DLH for boxing?

Marquez...will he be around long enough to reach Oscar's level of popularity?

    He's 35 years old with 59 fights.

Nobody is going to put together those types of numbers.
