History is not kind to 38 year old fighters fighting at 135 pounds is it? And having to move down to boot at his age? Remember Manny and Delahoya ? Oscar was exposed as being a shot fighter against a younger faster opponent. That is what is awaiting Manny, I really don't believe he'll fight anyone that is a danger to him .

No they weren't and you're full of ****. If his legs were completely gone he would have been stopped. You don't know **** about boxing. Out on your feet means you were about to be stopped and were defenseless. See Bute-Andrade 1 in the 12th round for reference as to a fighter who was out on his feet and compare that to what Crawford was at when he fought Gamboa.:deal:

This is out on your feet dummy

No you can recover if you lose the strength in your legs. Credit to Crawford as he displayed incredible recovery prowess, similar to how Joshua was out on his feet against Wlad yet still recovered. So your theory that once your legs are gone you will be stopped is completely unfounded.

Against Gamboa, he was out on his feet and peddled back to the ropes to lean on and even turned his back on Gamboa before grappling him into a headlock to catch some time to recover.

ya'll talk about Pac Man like hes some kind of bum... No respect whatsoever for one of the best fighters of this era... Damn... He may not be on his prime but the guy is no easy work for anyone.. And IMO still beats most of the fighters youve all mentioned... I just dont think he has the desire to fight no more.. Definitely not the same anymore but still very much relevant... And Horn?? I cant believe some people are even giving him a chance.. SMH

I tried to highlight this in the thread. Pac is still a hard fight for anyone around his weight

Not comfortably, which is the point. if Loma cant beat Pac at 47/40 Arum will have him drained so that Loma beats him for sure

Cotto got buzzed at 140 by DeMarcus Corley when he was attacking/bulling him him yet showed a very good chin against Canelo and Margarito when he was the one on the defensive. Handspeed can buzz anyone, if you dont see the punch and are just focusing on beating your man down(which crawford was at that point). Crawfords chin isnt proven but it isnt poven to be bad either. People saying Manny destroys Crawford dont know anything about boxing

Exactly. Those unexpected flash punches will stun you!
Power is obviously going to hurt but a lot of people overlook the impact of an accurate fast shot

You are either blind or a liar (I like the latter) Crawford was hit harder by Prescott and Prescott was at 155 lbs. Crawford was NEVER in trouble against Gamboa.

What would you base that on? Nobody has put Crawford down yet so how would an old Paq?

Crawford was not out on his feet. Look at how Bute was in that fight he was stumbling around hands down looking for a place to lay down a stiff breeze could have knocked him over at that point the true definition of being out on your feet. Crawford was never in that type of distress against Gamboa he was buzzed nothing more he was never in any real danger of getting stopped or knocked down. The two aren't close. Fighters get buzzed in damn near every fight being out on your feet doesn't happen in almost every fight.

You do realise Manny's original bodyweight is 122lbs, and you think he would struggle to make 140?

He didn't want to make 140 these last few years because there were hardly any big names, as all the big boys were in the welter.

It is a good thing he was "out on his feet" because he might have knocked Gamboa completely out of the ring 40 seconds later. Every boxer gets stunned during bouts but there is a difference between being stunned and hurt. Gamboa never HURT Crawford
