I cant fathom who would follow the HW division anyway, not in the state its in. I stopped after Lewis retired.
**** it. I'll fight the Klits for a couple of million. I'd get my ass kicked, but it wouldn't be any different to the other fights we've had recently, and it'd be high-action drama ... ... for eighty seconds or so.
Basically, fighters in other divisions. We don't really need to be saved, I don't think...just let them get on with it, surely they'll eliminate each other sooner or later? As to some literal HW saviour...I don't see it.
Same here. If it's on TV for free I'll catch it. I'd never shell out one pence for a Klitschko fight, unlike back in the day, Lewis, Tyson and Holyfield who I'd shell out all day long. This isn't the Klitschkos fault, I look at their opposition and think "What's the point?". For Haye or Adamek I might reconsider, but even those guys don't make the grade.
That fiasco last night is the first HW title fight i haven't shelled out for or tracked down in I don't know how long...for me, that's a sure sign that things have went totally bandy.
Same with me, I never used to have a problem with Hw's, but watching the continuous line of overweight, underprepared and unmotivated HW fighters enter the ring against the Klits (nt their fault like you say) leaves me annoyed at the state the division is in, especially when you consider what we used to be able to watch. The lighter weight guys give us far better value for our time/money.
Name one fighter available AND willing, who Wlad should fight instead of Chisora? From looking at the rankings, and just going down the list, there's not one.
I agree. Audley beats Haye twice, then loses to Wlad. Vitali retire in 2012, and Wlad unifies until 2020. deal
I have no idea why there has been so many Vitali-loving threads when all he did was beat Shannon Briggs, honestly, Sosnowski was a better win than that version of Briggs.
