Its a no-brianer who scotty should fight next, John Simpson at super-feather! & Good old Alex Morrison has no brain, so it will probably happen:-(

Having a brain though, I think scotty should stay at lightweight, & one quick leaf through the Ring magazines pages will tell you that Murray somehow still has a high ranking there, & its clearly a much bigger fight prestige wise for that reason ALONE.

So if you dont have a boxing brain? Its Simpson.

If you DO have a boxing brain though? Its Murray.

    Over to you Alex Morrison:deal

I seriously doubt Harrison would want to make superfeather again Dunky. Looks too big for it now. He'd absolutely kill himself getting down to that now surely?

Scotch my good man, scotty & his da have been making noises about stepping back down, madness IMO, but its true. scottys da saying he could do super-feather no prob...

Lightweight is the future for Scotty, but old Alek Morrison only sees the money, so expect him to cash in on a domestic dust-up instead:deal

I no Scot Harrison has not got time to feel his way into top fights but for me I think if he going in with Murray then he may as well fight Gavin Rees for the British title as in my opinion Murray is still a dangerous opponent who can still produce the goods at the top level . now i do think Scot can and would beat Rees and win his Lonsdale belt out right. So good luck to him and his father

I just heard a rumour it defiantly won't be Murray next.
Must say I'm looking forward to watching his next fight as he looked good last time out

I think that Scott should stay at lightweight, but i do believe he could make super featherweight ok. After all he was 3ibs under the lightweight limit a few days before weigh in for his last fight. It definetly wont be Murray next as his camp dont fancy it not surprised as hes made for scott, and would have been stopped badly late on in the fight ). I agree with posters saying Gavin Rees would be a good fight, he holds belts and is an ex world champion. Scott does not have time to spend 1 year in build up fights, and for any British lightweight he wont need any either.

Will he fight on the BurnsvMitchell undercard? I hope to see him soon again if he's serious about coming back. He has to get rid of any rust before the big fights come along. Would also like to see him against Rees.

So the John Murray fight isn't going to happen. Anyone want to have a guess at who it will be?

according to what I read in the peppers my good man, Alex Morrison said Scottys will STILL be on the undercard, & his next fight WILL STILL be an eliminator, fingers crossed:good

As for who the **** they will bring in after Gallagher & Murray shat their collective pants? Your guess is as good as mine:deal

Just had a look at the WBO rankings, Samuel Amoako at #14 and WBO african champ. Lee McAllister just about managed to get past him and Gavin Rees TKOed him back in 2010.

getting very close to the date now and still no opponent announced?

    Its all gone very quiet.

Surely if he's wanting people to take notice he's gonna have to up the type of opponent compared to last time, and name an opponent who has actually done a bit of training, not just a last minute step in.

    Anyone heard anything?

I know its too early to make much of an assessment on Scott Harrison's comeback, but I was very impressed by his comeback, particualry considering the length of time out and the troubles he has had.

I thought he looked like a real beast in the fight, he has a genuinely menacing quality about him and he was in tremendous shape.

I don't know if I would like to see him boil back down to Super Feather, he looked pretty lean to me and I just don't see how he could make a lighter weight without losing something.

Anyway, looking forward to his next outing, its quite exciting to see what he's got left! :bbb :bbb :bbb

I've heard a rumour there could be some interest from America, but it's only a rumour.
