i'm going for taylor simply because i think he's a better fighter than kessler and will move up without too much problem.

The poll is realistic for once. It is obviously Kessler, but it is also representative of the many delusional Pavlik fans that will vote Taylor to covertly boost him

that's on a par to posting blindly to back up what you think.

"obvious" and "delusional" for me refers to people who try to close arguments like you've just done.

Kessler has pretty much bolted the door in place and blocked it with his longboat for safe measure. There is nothing to close.

He has beaten proper SMW's and has done so impressively, unlike the others.

Jean Pascal has as much natural talent as any of those guys on that list, I just hope he can put it together. I voted for Kessler though

    you're right....

2 wins against hopkins tops anything kessler has done.

care to give an opinion why you think i'm wrong?

If you think Pavlik can beat Calzaghe, you prolly think he can beat Kessler. Or maybe Pavlik beats Kessler but not Calzghe. If you rate Pavlik ahead or one or both and consider Taylor right under Kelly. That would be reason why Jermain would be picked to take over 168. Personally I think Jermain is more talented and skilled then Kessler. Comparing performances in his Pavlik II fight and the Sartison fight. Jermain looked more impressive in my book. Sartison did not look like elite competition, hurt Kessler in the 1st round, and it took 12 rounds for him to knock him out. Some may consider the fighters @160 more talented then anybody at 168 and if they moved up wouldnt have any problem.

Nope. His two "wins" against Hopkins doesnt count ****. Taylor is obviously overrated by some. Hes had his good moments, I'll give you that. But he has always showed tremendous flaws.

Kessler has been extremely dominant in all of his fights except against Calzaghe. I mean - he's never lost more than 6 rounds or so before the Calzaghe fight. Plus - the guy fights at a much tougher division.

Hokins could spoil it for Kessler but a fight between Kessler and Taylor would be utter domination and a wide win for Kessler if not a late TKO.

Taylor needs to fight somebody at 168 before he can claim anything at all at 168. :deal

And they'll just tell you Kessler fought nobody, which is far from the case.

Kessler has only fought Eurobums and past it fighters..... :tired

I know - I get tired of the bull**** surroinding Kessler these days.
The guy is a real force and could be - with decent management - top 5 p4p in two years. Hes got the talent.

i like Pascal....but i want to see him in against some live comp before i jump on his train....Frock hasn't fought anybody either, but it seems like no one wants to fight him so maybe he's the darkhorse....i don't think Kessler will stay at 168, he looks like a lightheavy anyway....and Taylor isn't going to rule the division by any stretch so its a toss-up right now....

because taylor has fought better fighters and always on the world stage.

some of you people need to understand that fighting out of europe doesn't lend weight to a padded record made on teh european circuit.
