There's a guy in there with size, power, good fundamentals and reflexes. And there's another guy with just power. Beats me who they ought to favour.
AJ will obviously be favourite. Just look at their best wins: AJ - Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz(probably). Vs Wilder - Ortiz, Breazeale, Duhaupas, Stiverne amd Arreola. Their reumes are levels apart.
Depends if the bookies are getting as high on Wilders win over DB as the fanbois. If that's the case, then the bookies will have Wilder 10 to 1 on to kill Joshua in the first minute of round 1.
If the fight was to ever materialise, I would definitely put a few quid on both fighters to be knocked down and under 7.5 rounds. There would probably be a few other specials I would back. The odds would favour joshua but that would be dues to the volume of people backing him. I would expect 8/15 joshua 15/8 or similar odds
I can easily envision a Joshua KO, likewise I can easily see a Wilder KO, however if it goes to the cards I can only see Joshua winning. So yeah Joshua should be the favorite but the odds should be very close.
You would make a lot more money betting on it going to points than on either of them winning by KO. Providing it did go to points of course.
I`m putting a bet on that since you`ve wrote this, both fighters are going tio be careful and will be finding hard to get past the others long jab, you`ve put the seed in my tiny head, thanks.
