Canelo has Irish testicular fortitude :deal I would not be one bit surprised if he faces Golovkin as soon as he knocks out cotton. Canelo has globes of steel, when they bounce around it is the equivalent of a steel wrecking ball :deal Canelo has red marks on the side of his thighs due to the impacts on a daily basis :deal

:good Pretty much agree with everything you said here. Maybe we'll both be wrong this time though.......I'm hoping.

I'd be totally fine with the winner being stripped and refusing the fight. That's a likely scenario as well. As long as GGG gets the belt I'm happy, and I know he wants the belt more than he wants the person.

    If Cotto wins, Mayweather

    If Canelo wins clearly, Golovkin

    If Canelo wins controversially, rematch.

Being I'm expecting a close yet clear win for Canelo, my vote would be Triple G (if he beats Lemieux)

I agree Canelo has no qualms about fighting Golovkin when the time is right. I think stopping with Oscar (who took risks regularly himself in his career) and not hiding behind Haymon or Richard Schafer shows that Canelo is actually willing to fight the best unlike other motor mouths who get Haymon to duck fights for them.

Let's not forget a lot of people said he wouldn't take on tricky operators like Trout and Lara (both have very little box office value), but he did, and a loss to them is a lot more damaging than a loss to GGG where I'd assume he'd be a big underdog.

A loss to GGG won't hurt him anymore than getting beat by Mayweather did, imo.

After Canelo beats up Cotto he will definitely try to fight Void. If he doesn't get the rematch he will fight Golovkin. Canelo does not fear Triple Duck.

Each other if the fight warrants a rematch.

If its not GGG then whoever it is should be stripped of all titles

The writing is all over the wall. Just listen to the interviews. From WBC's Sulaiman to De La Hoya, Roach, Cotto or Canelo. Golovkin is not next or even next year. There will be a rematch, if not two.

someone not called triple g. cotto is flat out scared, and canelo wants it, but his team will convince him to wait until he peaks as a fighter, which should be in about 2 or 3 years. ggg is not just on top of his game, he is on top of THE game. you dont move up in weight to tackle a beast like that... unless youre a roberto duran, which canelo clearly isnt.
