    Chagaev, Ruiz, Rinse, Repeat.

The WBA are digging their own graves. Who the **** wants to see any of those matches, especially since every combination of those fighters has already happened?

  4. I hope he fights Vitaly so his ass will get KO'D..
    He was pitiful against Holyfield..

I don't think he has a choice. As I understand it, he has to fight Chagaev next.

Chagaev will get injured, then Ruiz will step in again. WBA is happy with Valuev and Chagaev as champions, and Ruiz as their perpetual contender. This prolly wont change for years.

i agree, the wba heavyweight rankings have been reeking of foul play and glaring, unforgivable ignorance for the last five years, maybe longer. vitali v. valuev should happen. it would be a big event and generate respectable revenues in europe, the eastern bloc and be a curiosity for die hards and freak show attendees here in the states. chagaev will, i imagine, extend the tangle by scheduling a rematch with valuev and get sick, injured or something that will send the promoters and fighters back to the drawing board for an inordinately long time, after which they will pull out the "newly released" wba rankings and pull some obscure, over the hill or unproven goofball who has never peeked over the fence into the contender's lot and throw him in for another underwhelming losing performance against an underwhelming valuev who will never really get started or shift gears upward. i am not a valuev detractor, for a while there--against beck and barrett, he was looking pretty good, hitting harder and straighter, focusing the jab--then he fought ruiz for the first time and ever since valuev has been doing a notably accurate impression of ruiz by stinking the place out every time he fights. i am not a fan of rocky marciano and tend to think his legacy is oversold, but it pains me, nonetheless, that valuev was, once, within a stone's throw of getting at his record.

Valubum NEEDS to fight Vitali Klit for credibility............. BUT! Since Valubum is already making one to two million bucks a pop fighting "Lesser" men, look for Team Valubum to continue doing so...... Can you blame Team Valubum??:huh

    MR.BILL:bbb

    P.S.

46 year old Holy DESERVES a 2009 rematch with Valubum.............. YES! I know the first fight sucked, too......

I'd like so see Bidenko to beat him the second time, and this time in front of the boxing fans from all-over the world, so it would be harder to rob Taras!!!

He is supposed to fight Chagaev next, but it looks like it will be Ruiz. I won't bother to watch such a fight.
