There's no question about it, love him or hate him, Wilder is the most polarising figure in heavyweight boxing. But if he is soundly defeated by Ortiz and is taken out of the equation, who is the second choice fighter of Wilders fans that they would support for a run at the title?

    Dustin Nichols or Charlie Z

But we all know they have a secret man-crush on AJ and Hearn

Hahaha, Nichols is on the comeback trail ay? ;) . I've noticed a lot of support from the states for Lucas Browne, so I'm going to assume it isn't Dillian Whyte or a UK fighter lol.

Does anyone think Wilder is going to lose? He is knocking on the doorstep of a huge payday with Anthony Joshua, this fight at this point makes little sense unless it's in the bag. Wilder has taken 0 risks in his career I don't think it's starting here.
However hypothetically if he did lose, I think most would become Dubois fans

The only reason Wildturd is fighting Old Man Ortiz is to make a bigger payday for the Joshua fight, but I really don't think he has the balls to fight Joshua ever....................he needs a wino to beat on, or perhaps another woman to beat up................

They'd be miserable and wouldn't know what to do. I can see MVC throwing his Deontay bobblehead out of the window and locking himself in his room for weeks.

Providing he could get the bobblehead out of his ass.

Which would be no easy feat, would need a entire work crew with one of those jaws of life to budge it.

We'd have to alert these guys:

    https://caves.org/

Gonna take ropes, torches and a spelunking party to find Wilder's bobblehead, right next to Floyd's ;)

Would Wilder fans support Miller if he is to challenge Joshua or Ortiz?

I'm not a Wilders fan, but if he loses, I will not consider it a disaster. Ortiz has a punch, seems as a boxer in top 3 -5 defeat from him won't be a disgrace to anyone
