Well, at this point, unleashthefury and others strategy of looking for the weakest person on the WBC rankings looks right. Wilder is showing zero ambition, the WBC will take ages to sort out the mandatory positioning, Wilder will say he wants to stay "sharp". So, my guess would be David Price in an England fight, to help pay groundwork for a Joshua cash out. Price is arguably the weakest WBC guy, but would also be the most lucrative of the weaker fighters, with the added plus of the AJ angle.
expect Charles Martin or another 20-30 WBC ranked heavie to suddenly appear in their top 15 and sign to fight Wilder a few days later
Stiverne most likely Stiverne, Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola, Wawrzyk, Stiverne What a true champion...
He'll fight Stiverne after this defence. Which means we probably won't see Wilder in an actual fight until at least 2018.
If hes forced .....Whyte . Whyte is a good fighter but not a Povetkin threat . I do think he can upset Wilder by continually improving by fighting better opponents . Wilder will just stagnate ,really i believe hes peaked and hes not much more effective than whyte at this point . That will be a good fight .
There's loads of great fighters at different weight classes who could challenge Deontay. Or even look at some of those new "lady boxers." Try one of those travelling fairs for a strongman. Or go the whole hog and fight an undefeated heavyweight on his debut. The world is literally his oyster.
Let me guess....another bum? There is a common theme to all Wilders opponents since he beat Stiverne, they are all bums.
