Oscar Is Running Scared..but If They Fought I Got Oscar By 12th Round Ko With His Left Hook.... But Oscar Is Running Like A ***** So The Fight Will Never Happen!
DLH could win if he can hang in 12 rounds. The odds of that happening are reallllly low; especially considering margo's relentless attack. If DLH somehow was in good enough shape to battle 12 FULL ROUNDS, my $ would be on him. I don't think he's motivated enough to do such tho.
Prime for prime ? Oscar by stoppage. Now ? ??????? Depends on how much he's got left. Where's Presscott ?
If the fight is 154, he will stop Margo late. Margo is too easy to hit, and contrary to what people think, Cotto does NOT hit harder than DLH. Margo won't have a size advantage, and he won't be able to walk through DLH's shots. People think DLH is shot, and that I am biased, but based on styles, I say DLH takes it.
We have : AM - a very good fighter without much brain, but huge will, heart and aggression. ODH - a great on the way down, lots of brain, not so much will, heart or aggression. AM will keep walking forward, easy pickings for the huge left. If hes still in there after 10, ODH may just have another kidney shot situation. My pick Oscar by mid fight stoppage.
Cotto basically punched Margos face in at will whilst moving backwards early on. Any lesser chinned boxer would not survive in the ring with those tactics.
oscar by unanimous in the most painful fight of his life. his defence, even now, is much better than cotto so he wont get hit as much and he has the power to put margo in defence mode more than anyone has before. oscar is more durable than cotto, has more power so he will force margo to defend and slow his offence and will not get hit as often and as flush as cotto did.
I definately see Marg slowing his offense in this one as well. Hoya on the backfoot is much more efficient than Cotto and can land hard blows while retreating. I don't think Hoya has even been pressed to the ropes much in his carrer except for a couple of early rounds against Vargas (who tried his best). I really can't think of any other time.
Margarito walks through De La Hoya's left hook and ODH can't withstand Margarito's relentless aggression. Tony by late stoppage.
