Well, that's why context is important, as you mention. And I agree with your conclusions, except in the case of Khan. Maidana's punching power has clearly been grossly overrated, as demonstrated by the fact that he was not only unable to knock Khan out - whose chin problems predate the Prescott fight - and by the fact that he wasn't able to take out the ancient Morales.

Kirkland is the early front runner. His Chin is absolutely terrible.

Maybe the worst Chin in the sport today. No wonder he has to carry a gun any person off the street that is in-shape and can throw a correct punch has a chance to brutally KO him.

I think the reality of Kirkland's astonishingly weak chin, and the magnitude of what it means for all his hopes & dreams, took a few weeks to sink in amongst the boxing community.

He literally has no punch resistance. None.

It was Shattered Glass and Shattered Dreams literally for Kirkland. He lost a TON of money on that fight.

Kirkland is a classic example of a fighter who just won't go far because he can't take a punch.

Something tells me his management knew this too - that's why they moved him so carefully.

Kirkland's display of punch resistance was the worst in the centuries old history of the sport. I challenge you to find anybody ever in professional boxing at ANY level to be legitimately dropped after taking less damage than Kirkland.

He went down from the FIRST punch landed which was a GRAZING JAB from a guy with a 23% KO ratio. Absolutely disgraceful.

If Haye beats Kirkland's impressive 1st round record, he may have your Glass Trophy.

I understand the support for china chinned fraud James Kirkland in this poll. However, I am somewhat surprised, and indeed a little indignant at the low poll vote for that friable mandibled disgrace Roy Jones Jnr. If one were to consider the level of sheer consitency displayed by RJJ, then I would strongly asseverate that he should be in 'poll' position. For display after display of a lack of mandibular fortitude, surely Roy is the man! :dead

The chin talk is funny but the above is true.
