This fight is bound to happen sometime next year or the year after that as long as both fighters stay in the same wieght.

My pick is Margarito. I think Margarito was coming on strong in the last rounds of their first fight. I think Margo will pull it off this time.

I think "The Punisher" is a good fighter but a little over-hyped.

I think Williams beat him pretty handily in the first meeting, but since then the Tijuana Tornado has been relentless in destroying Cintron and Cotto.

    Margo UD.

If the fight actually takes place (I sure hope so), I'd pick Margo to get the job done this time. I believe he's learned a lot in the past 2 years from his mistakes. But I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Paul came away with a decision again... 55-45 for Margo.

Margarito makes his adjustments and knocks him out in six.

I think Margo takes this one he started real slow in the last fight. I think he starts a lot quicker out the gate this time and takes the fight.
I can see this going to points.

Ok, here's what happens, Williams does what he did last time out, what does Margarito do differently to get the win he didn't do last time?

    Exactly!

Margarito is a great fighter, but he fights one way.

He starts off faster, thats what he can do differently. Williams cannot hurt Margarito. I watched their fight again and saw that those body punches were hurting Williams. If Margarito starts faster, he has a better chance of winning than Williams, IMO.

    EXACTLY!

I just think that Williams is a stylistic nightmare for Margo. Williams wins again, but that doesn't mean Marg isn't one bad wamma jamma.

AM v Williams (I) was a close fight, admittedly Williams won. However AM was catching up with him. I think AM would make the adjustments and start faster. I see him stopping Williams, but anything is possible. I thought AM would poleaxe Williams in the first but PW kept him honest for long enough to get a good win.

PW jumping up and down in weight can NOT be good for his career. Usually a boxer evolves and gets heavier, he doesn't jump up and down like a yo-yo. I think RJJ is an example of a guy who put on too much weight and suffered the price. He was never the same after beating Ruiz. He should have stayed at HW until he got KTFO by a better boxer than Ruiz.

He starts off faster? That's it is it? Did Margarito deliberately fight slow in the first few rounds against Williams or something? Check the punch stats. Williams looked fresher and quicker in the early rounds, thats why Margo looked 'slow'. And if Tony can start faster so can Williams.

The body punches slowed down Williams over hte course of the fight and allowed Margo to come on stronger later on. Trying to arbitrarily start faster is not some magic way for Margarito to correct his mistakes. Tony fights at one speed.

I like Margarito as a figher but Williams has his number.
