Does Lazcano have even an outside chance of beating Hatton

Depends on how much damage Floyd did to him mentally , if thats not much i expect a hatton KO rd 6-9.

It gets interesting if Hatton -

a, is not his good old self in the ring , and allows Lacanzo into the fight.

b, he learns from defeat and is actually better for it

c, if making Light welter weight is now a problem.

Lazcano is a tough fighter with a good heart and a fan's style. This should be good, but a one-sided 12 rounder in favor of Hatton, something like 117-111. Hatton better not underestimate him.

This is a very important fight for Hatton , if he looks bad or loses , ( please god no !! ) his career at the top could be over. Crossroads fight for Ricky.

Yep. Very important. And the opponent is still a very tough one - because Hatton's coming from his first loss, a KO loss... and for a tune-up, or regroup fight, itt a pretty solid one. So he better look good.

Fortunately for Hatton, this fight is in Hatton's backyard, so the only thing he has to worry about is getting ktfo. Otherwise, he's assured a decision.

Agreed, but if Hatton balloons to 200 as he did before the Mayrunner fight I would not bet on Hatton.

Hatton by UD, maybe late stoppage but not likely.
