I had a funny feeling of a fluke early Fury stoppage over McDermott. Dunno why.

My head tells me it will be similar to the first: Both knackered at the end of the fight (over 12 this one) with McDermott landing the far better shots throughout the fight to win a hard earned decision 116-112, 115-113 but no closer or wider methinks.

Fury, no doubt, will display great heart but even though he looks in better shape despite his heaviness, I doubt he knows how to throw anything other than arm punches still.

Will be shocking if he retires though. Even for someone as hyped as he was, a loss means nothing, especially considering his age, potential and still small number of fights (didn't have many am scraps either)

We moan about prospects being matched softly, and win lose or draw, this kid has fought a top domestic heavyweight with some decent attributes twie within his first 15 fights. Okay, Fury might not be a Benitez-esque child prodigy, but he's going the right way about learning the trade properly.

I don't think a prospect should call it quits unless his heart ain't in it or a glass jaw has been revealed. I'm pretty certain that by the end of tonight, win lose or draw, we won't be able to say either of them about Fury. It would be a shame if he retired.

The state of Fury as we know him will lose to McD however in terms of potential Fury should win. I say this because McD has shown he has no intentions of ever being a genuine athlete. Fury says he has sparred 10 rounds, that is nuts. I think Fury could land big on McD. Fury showed he can take some big shots last time out. There is a lot to consider, it's a pick em. Too much to consider.

I really don't like the chances of Fury being even an average puncher. Just throws arm punches.

Is this starting at 10pm or 10:30pm local time (in less than fifteen, or about forty-five minutes)? There is conflicting information out there.
