    I think Smoger is the perfect referee for this fight. We all know there's a likelihood that there'll be some rough fighting and I hate it whenever referees jump in and stop it. If a fighter lands a low blow and his opponent returns the favour, good! That's what fans want to see. Smoger is the type of referee who lets the fighters fight and that's good news for the fans.

    Of course though, if either fighter is being excessively dirty, I hope Smoger sorts it out.

    One thing that I really appreciate here, on ESB.
    The poll "Who will you be rooting for" has Froch as a favorite just as "Who do you think will win" has Ward as a favorite.
    People make a difference and this is important.

    In the Kessler-Froch fight, the referee Jack Reiss kept admonishing Kessler for no reason other than to confuse and distract him. And he allowed Ward to deliberately headbutt and hit off the break. At one point, Ward hit Kessler off the break and Jack Reiss yelled at Kesser about it!

    And the blow that ended the fight was a blatently deliberate headbutt. It brought a smirk to the face of Jack Reiss as he saw Kessler wince in pain.
    It would be poetic justice if Froch KOs Ward.
