I like rooting for the underdog but not against my favorite fighter... I hope jlo puts a good early performance then canelo takes over...

Many were excited about Ortiz canelo calling it a great match up, and jlo broke his jaw and showed he can bang... so jlo did earn his money if he does get the fight.

Like i said with ortiz,if josesito can take canelo's punch, then he can pull off the upset, because if canelo can't hurt him,the lopez will get aggressive and canelo doesn't fight well going backwards.Canelo is also a flat-footed fighter, just like ortiz and ortiz is faster than canelo, but canelo is stronger.I think this is the fight where canelo has to dig down deep, because josesito is tough as they come,he weighed in at like 146 against ortiz,i think if he came in at 150 he will be fine.

Here's hoping to a vicious KO victory for Lopez.

    It a shame

I think that he beats most of the 154lbs out there not sure what they are scared of he is very technically sound punches like a mule and has the patience of a veteran

It makes you think, do they know something that we don't know???

Jumping from 140 to 147 to 154 (Against a heavy 154 pounder) in the span of 2 fights is too much IMO. Let's hope Josesito doesn't go in there to just get a beat down.

Ill be rooting for Lopez mainly because its simply a ****ing mismatch and i would love the upset to happen

First he wants to take on a damaged Paul Williams
then he wants to fight a welterweight in Victor Ortiz
now hes wants to fight a Junior welterweight in Joesito Lopez!

WTF? the dudes a Junior Middleweight! ****ing fight Junior Middleweights! Erislandy Lara, James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto, Austin Trout, Cornelius Bundrage, Serhiy Dzinziruk . . . . Somebody!

I used to be a fan of Canelo before he won the title but since then hes fought a Euro level welterweight, a **** junior middleweight, a **** welterweight, another **** junior middleweight and of course an old welterweight . . . . .

    Gingers have no souls!

Alvarez is no champion if he takes on Lopez. Hes a bully. Its bad enough he won his "title" off a 140lber. If this fight happens, im done with Alvarez. **** him and his matchmaker/promoters

I don't really think its the gingers's fault. I think its DLH and Schaeffer's fault. Many times we blame fighters when most of the time their promoters do the mis matching or not the best matches that can be made.

    :deal

    Exactly ~!

Canelo wants Mayweather/Cotto/Martinez and GBP rejects that **** for later.

But GBP protecting there money don't let him fly and he won't develop if they give him soft touches... although JLO ain't no soft touch his size is much smaller then canelo, they are around same height though...

You do understand how top level boxing works when you are not freelance....You generally dont actually go "i want him" and then the fight is made. His handlers pick his opponents, and so far they are building him up well.

And do reply with the 40 fights rubbish! I could get to 40 fights with no losses too (ok mainly fighting one armed tramps, women, and the odd baby).

But does that mean i am instantly ready to take on the worlds best?

My point is hes not been tested to that level yet and is still just a kid.

    Let him be.

Josesito all the way. I want him to bust Archie's jaw, but it's a fact it's a hard fight for him.
