Who will you be rooting for: Deontay Wilder or Zhilei Zhang?

I don't really have a dog in this fight, so all I can say is may the best man win. However I think it would probably be better for the division if Wilder wins (and I think he will).

 

Zhang all day long...

 

I'm a big fan of both, so I'm just hoping for a good fight which I'm sure it will be.

 

I think Zhang puts him to sleep. If Wilder wins it will be one of those wins where he has to peel himself off the canvas and wear Zhang down. But Zhang is just a better boxer and hits about as hard. Only question is his hamster sized gas tank.

 

I think Deontay is damaged goods probably at this point vs anyone with that kind of power. He literally can't get touched by Zhang, if he does he loses.

 

I'd like Zhang to win, but I can't see him avoiding and surviving that right hand consistently. So I'm going Wilder on this one.

I think Big Bang will knock him out in round 3.
He's a tough nut. He'll Pepper Wilder with jabs and finish him off. As someone has already alluded to - he gasses so quickly.
The longer the fight goes on anything could happen

 

Wilder because he's the American fighter. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Zhang won. People have been talking about what Wilder took out of Fury, but what has Fury taken out of Wilder?

 

Wilder's legs looked stick thin the last time I watched him. Surely this effects his ability to throw with such power.
I hadn't noticed it in his earlier career.

sounds interesting .. .

 

I don't think Wilder is done I just think he's had his weakness exposed and that weakness is boxing ability as shown by Fury and Parker along with believing his overhyped power. He can bang but who's he ko'd that anybody in the current top 10 couldn't ko, he hits hard but some had him down as the hand of god. That's just my opinion.

All that said Zhang seems to have a decent chin and I hope Wilder wins with a big ko and proves me very wrong, the hype of Wilder is good for the division and boxing fans.
