You said you liked EXCITING fighter, and you don't like clinchers and spoilers.

But of course you're rooting for Hopkins!

We both know the REAL reason why, your motives couldn't be more obvious, why not just be honest about it?

Im rooting for Hopkins for the reason I outlined, no other. But you still havent responded to the post. You love Wlad, the ultimate clincher, yet you want Kovalev to win. You could just respond to my post and clear that up for everyone. ;)

Just admit that no matter which fighter wins its good for boxing.

You whine and complain about Wlad's clinching, yet you angrily and viciously attack anyone who points out similar tactics used by Ward and Hopkins.

You say you like exciting fighters, yet you love Ward, Mayweather and Hopkins, while you deprecate and disparage Kovalev, Povetkin, Golovkin, etc.

"MVC!" is honest about why he supports the same boxers you do, why can't you be?

I'll be rooting for Hopkins. Looks like it will be on regular HBO so I'll be watching...unless I am forced to work Saturday.

This dummy is just another ignorant and uninformed anti EE/Klitschko troll on this forum, his kind are a dime a dozen here. You would be better off just putting him on your ignore list.

Just want to see a good fight. On one hand you've got Hopkins, a fantastic operator and a record breaker, it really would be a fantastic story. On the other you've got an up and coming exciting younger fighter who could reign for some years at LH

    I am rooting for Bernard.

He took a hard risky fight at nearly 50, daring to reach for true greatness.

Very rare in this day and age.

How can you not root for him?

Time for a new buck to take over and you can't go wrong with the exciting Kovalev. It's time for some exciting KO action!

Like Kovalev said this man do not want to go away, someone needs to send him to retirement. Hopkins is very crafty he knows this fight is only Win Win for him and whichever way you look at it is lose fight for Kovalev.

Who is going to give any credit if Kovalev wins? Nobody, if it happens and Kovalev wins then Hopkins is grandpa, he is 50 years old, he is pensioner....

This fight is so useless for Kovalev and we all know that

Hopkins has earned my respect over the years from a strong dislike.

I hope no one gets hurt and we have a good fight. I like both. Would be better for boxing (probably) should Kovalev win. But wont begrudge Hopkins as he is doing legendary stuff.

People say Cleverly would have won if he had boxed against Kovalev.

TBH, I don't think it would have made much of a difference, since Kovalev is so good at cutting off the ring.

What people don't realize is that Cleverly WAS boxing him in the early parts of Round 1, working behind the jab. It's just that Kovalev, for the most part, was winning then too. The punch stats in Round 1 showed that Kovalev was outlanding Cleverly.
