yeah I think Farmer’s might be brain damage. Makh was probably doing his as a kid. Probably always been like that.

 

Jake Paul annoyed me with his superbowl comments, so to comfort myself I rewatched him getting KO’d by AJ a few times. Picked my mood right up. Money well spent by Netflix in my book.

 

Makh is really not that good at all.

He is tailor made for Fury.

Jake has definitely drunk too much of the Kool-Aid in recent times, if you know what I mean. Feels like he's trying too hard.

 

Didn't realise that to be fair. But I know he's been finished a few times, by the likes of Ortiz, Yoka and David Price of all people. I remember the Clarke fight was an injury. You'd have thought someone with the punching power of Makhmudov would have been able to do the job.

Having done further research, I found out Farmer actually revealed last year that he's had Tourettes all his life. So that's solved then.

He does it pretty much every time he goes back to his corner. I know that he received a headbutt in this fight so at the time it was pretty worrying to watch. 25:06 and 45:17 are two examples.

 

No need for the 3rd, but I'm very curious to hear all the excuses the Fury fans come up with if Fury loses. Very entertaining.

 

Fury vs Makhmudov is at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a bizarre choice for a warm-up fight. Would be surprised to see it do 25,000. Whoever is promoting it is going to lose a serious amount on ticket sales there.

Yep, no argument, he'll say or do anything for a click, I put him in the parasite category and I still think the fracture was faked.

 

you can literally see his teeth in the in-ring vid during his interview at the end of the fight. it's clear his jaw was broken. AJ is a hard hitter and had a perfect clean shot on Jake with his hands down in the corner -- what's crazy to think he broke the jaw of a guy 1-2 weight classes below?

the fight was 100% real. i've re-watched it .Jake's plan was to just run and try to survive. AJ's plan was to go for a body-shot KO because he didn't want to legitimately hurt Jake. However, Jake's running and spoiling was working for the first four rounds, and with four rounds left, AJ knew he had to fight for real or risk humiliation for not getting the KO. So, round 5, AJ started going all out. Just about got it done in round 5, got it done in round 6.

not a single thing about the fight was fake.

Fury is the only person so far who has given Usyk any trouble. Usyk going as far as to say Fury was his toughest fight.

I'd rather see Usyk fight someone who can actually provide him with a challenge - like Fury - than someone like Rico Verhoeven, who won't.
