    I want Usyk.
Because he is an extremely dedicated, hard working yet funny guy who developed great talent despite not being a large, hard hitting HW.

He has been so impressive at every level.
He is also mentally stable although intensely concentrated, disciplined, fun loving...And it is great to root for a representative of the Ukranian people at this time.

He has fought what's been around for him to fight.

Wonder what would have happened if Fury had gotten the decision, as he should have, in the first fight against Wilder. There would have been a rematch and he would have won that too and ended the series in 2019. Joshua meanwhile would be spend that year with the two Ruiz fight setting the stage for sho down for the undisputed in 2020, but then covid would have scuppered everything.

Most likely the fight would have taken place last year, about the time Joshu and Fury were scheduled to meet before the ruling in Wilder's favour. And Usyk would have faced the winner. Annoying how a bad decision has thrown things in a bit of a turmoil.

    Usyk.

Most importantly, he's the better fighter and the great, career-defining rival Tyson Fury needs (no, execrators, he won't stay 'retired' if Usyk wins).

Secondly, while Joshua isn't the worst human on the planet and is mainly guilty of just being a bit dumb, Usyk is the more likeable and more compelling character.

When it comes to boxing I'm not patriotic for the most part, Usyk is my man and I hope he wins. I don't like to shout about who I think will win when I have a vented interest in a fight as I feel I will be a jinx.

I'm pretty much the same. Although the evidence all points to an Usyk win, I just have a feeling it will go Joshua's way. I don't mind if that happens, he's a quality fighter and we may then see the big fight with Fury that would be mega. Usyk is in another league though in both his achievements, his technical excellence and he's a real character. No memorised buzz words or phrases, more natural.

I wanted Uysk to win the first time as he was the underdog and I would like him to win again to put to bed the whole "AJ just had the wrong tactics narrative, he just needs to revert to the "old" AJ"

Given that pundits were painting the "old AJ" as something he never was...some close range, rough house fighter full of ring smarts ... which he wasnt

But if AJ wins I will be pleased for him

Anything but a dodgy decision, thats my fear that there is a dodgy as hell decision

Long time AJ fan here. Will be cheering for him but I think he loses again. In the first fight I think usyk if he wanted to could’ve gone up a gear and stopped AJ. He’s added weight for this fight which tells me he’s going for the stoppage. Has AJ had enough time with his new trainer to make enough adjustments? I doubt it and he can’t outbox usyk.
I can see this being over in 5 rounds with both guys unloading in an entertaining shootout AJ could get lucky but my head says usyk via stoppage

I have a bad feeling that Joshua will win, or something shady will happen to rob Usyk.

But I hope I'm wrong and you are right.
