Which fighter will you be rooting for, Andy Ruiz or Luis Ortiz?

I'm not a fan of either fighter. I liked Ruiz before his second fight with Joshua, but he let everybody down by not coming in better shape. Ortiz has been very overrated over the years, while never beating a decent opponent except for Jennings. And he tested positive, so I wonder if he was clean for the Jennings fight.

But I hope Ruiz wins, because I think it would be better for the division. If Ortiz wins, we'll suffer through Wilder vs Ortiz III, no one wants to see that fight.

I voted neither. Think it will be a good fight though. I agree with what you say, will be better for the division if Ruiz wins.

I like Ortiz, I like his story with his daughter and his family. To me Ruiz is always one cheeseburger away from fat Andy taking over again.

I'll watch it and i'm hoping for fireworks, but I'm not really a fan of either fighter. Ruiz appears to have had his buster douglas moment and he's done nothing to convince anyone that he can repeat his success. Taking on a 43 year old ortiz is a bizarre career move, despite the fact it's being billed as a "title eliminator." Even if that were true, on what planet would Fury waste his time with the winner of this fight?

Regardless, Ruiz needs to make a statement with this fight. I don't think it'll play out this way, but if Ruiz can obliterate Ortiz, then maybe he'll get a shot at a legit contender. Then if he can convincingly win that fight, maybe he'll get a title shot late next year. I don't see this happening though.

King Kong! I hope he’s able to catch Ruiz cleanly and show his brutal KO power, for those who forgot how legitimate of a top-tier heavyweight he really is, even at 41-42

assuming Ortiz wins, and I expect him to, I would like to see him rematch Wilder

I’ve followed both closely, two fighters I enjoy watching.

I pick Ruiz by UD but here’s hoping for a good fight.

Rooting for Ruiz because of longevity and the great fights that can be made, I see Ortiz as being a car crash waiting to happen.

Luis Ortiz and I share a birthday, that's a good enough reason right there, but it also helps that he's a genuinely good guy and family man.

I like Ortiz better but Ruiz winning would be better for the division.

No way I'm paying $80 for this PPV, tho. It should be $40 tops, and really it should not be PPV at all.

First and foremost i look forward to and want a good fight.

It has been pleasing to not have to put up with the childlike excessive trash talk that certain other heavyweights enter into prefight..postfight and forever.

However i will be rooting for Ruiz, hoping a slimmer focused Ruiz will be in the mix for future bouts over next couple of years.

But if Ortiz were to win i frankly would not be crying into my beer, I'm just not keen on risk of a aging Ortiz becoming cannon fodder in future fights with some of these young gun behemoths.

They are going to make fight between winner vs Wilder.

I don't want to see Wilder vs Ortiz 3, so Ruiz is my choice.

How could anyone not root for a fifty-two year old boxer?
