I like Ortiz better but think Ruiz should win a pretty clear decision, maybe even a stoppage. I like this fight but definitely not paying ppv for it

Both seem like decent people, good family men

So I’ll root for the underdog in Ortiz

Not a fan of either fighter, Ruiz is lazy and undisciplined and Ortiz has been caught doping twice, so neither fighter really makes me want to root for them. I just hope it's a good fight.

Ortiz, I like this guy, I like hard workers.

I dont dislike ruiz, but I am a strong believer in work ethic. And ruiz, even if I like him, he has none.

Nevertheless, even if I will root for ortiz, I think that ruiz will win by ko/tko.

Given that Ortiz is at least 60 years old, Ruiz would have more to give to the division. But hey, let the better man win.

I think both these guys are past it. Ortiz can still be dangerous for a few rounds - sure - but he's not going to flatten elites in that timeframe the way he once could. And I just don't think Andy Ruiz Jr is all that motivated any more. In a crowded division, I don't want either man to get a shot at a major strap. I'd like the division to move on.

So - I'm rooting for Ortiz.

    Why?

Because the way I see it - there's no way Ortiz is getting a shot at a major strap having already been stopped twice by Wilder. Doesn't really matter if he wins tonight or not. If, on the other hand, Ruiz Jr wins - he's probably a risk to worm his way into an eliminator or could get named for a voluntary defense. So Ortiz it is....

Definitely rooting for Ortiz but his legs are completly gone. I wouldn't be shocked if Ruiz puts him down with the first fast and explosive punch that lands clean. Saying that...Ruiz got dropped by Arreola so Ortiz can put him down as well. Good fight. I bet the **** out of the Under 9.5 rounds...

I reckon Ruiz should win but I expect Ortiz to put on some pressure early and cause problems for Ruiz.

I like both but I always pull for Ortiz. He's just a good, likable dude. Too me, Ruiz should win with his hand speed advantage but he is certainly could get caught by the powerful, counterpunching Ortiz. It's an intriguing bout no doubt.

Ruiz, 50 Yr old men shouldn't be fighting and yeah no one wants to have to face the prospect of Wilder v Ortiz for a third time.

Ruiz because he might still have a future in the sport. Ortiz is literally on his last legs.
