It's so interesting seeing how many people on here are underestimating or undervaluing Marshall's boxing ability. You see all these trainers and alleged expert in the field saying some of the most outlandish shite you could imagine. I even saw someone picking Shields to KO Marshall in the middle rounds. Say WHAT?!?! lol I can assure you, that will not be happening.

Marshall could very well win this on points. I think it'll be close, but the power of Marshall is enough to keep Shield's output to a minimum. And Shields boxing ability should prevent there from getting stopped, so I'm going to say that this is a Marshall victory on points, and I think it could be a controversial decision because of how close it will be. But don't be surprised if Shields hits the canvass in this fight. It wouldn't be surprising at all.

It's not a hard fight to break down. One girl has size, reach, power, technical ability (feints, throwaway punches, good technique, variety, stance switching, cutting off the ring, using angles, pivoting, better footwork etc) and one girl has the advantage in handspeed. Talk about lopsided. Shields has fast hands and can rush forward with shots but if anyone thinks she is just going to win on the outside and win on points, they are very wrong. Shields is the one who needs to hurt Marshall so that Marshall doesn't get into her groove and goes low volume. She would need to catch Marshall with something she doesn't see and hurt her. Sometimes the person you think is the puncher turns out to be the one who gets hurt by the other fighter who isn't seen as the puncher. Oscar vs Mayorga for example. Mayorga was seen as the power puncher after KO'ing Forrest and he was giving Forrest free punches to his chin in the fight. Forrest had shown very good power in the Mosley fight. Mayorga was not only iron chinned but considered a big puncher himself. It turned out that DLH was the puncher in the fight which was a shock. Mayorga looked shocked himself when he was on the canvas in the first round. But since Shields has very poor accuracy and punch technique when shes throwing combinations I don't think that will happen. Not to mention she is carrying pillows. Savannah is the better counter puncher. Shields does have a good counter left hook but again, pillow fisted. The bigger longer girl will actually win this fight at range and then bludgeon her on the inside. It just goes to show how most people dksab.

You gents is tripping, yall caught up on the hate and can't see the obvious. Shields is ready and in magnificent shape. Her tone reminds me of one of those Bugatti's or Ferrari's revving up. She is in rare form and Mashall bout to get her ass tore up.

    More buzzwords.

From what iv seen marshall seems to be the one with more variety in her shots. Shields is more text book. Marshall timing looks better, that's part of her power.

Shields can get in and out of range better than Marshall, she needs that with Marshall reach advantage.

I think shields assumes she can dance round marshall all night and might be in for a shock when she realises how well Marshall can time her coming in. I can see shields on her bike with lots of pot shots.
If either fighter has an off night they lose this Imo.

Saying she is a more complete fighter isnt explaining at all its a vague statement.

What makes her a more complete fighter?
