That's the way I saw it as well but the judges didn't. She has her chance to get revenge Saturday.

All this commotion because of the past where Marshall apparently won decisively only to find out how it really played out,

So why do you think people so high on her to get the job done? even watching her other fights she seems slower, seems to be more of a counter puncher throwing less in volume, keeps her hands low which can be exploited & is seen plodding forward,

i don't know man perhaps she does have this heavy power do get the job done, even the bookies got both of them at $1.90 guess it's good for betting or not considering the judges?

I'm going with the more accomplished and more skilled fighter and that's Shields. Power can be neutralized, skills cant.

Shields has a big ego, with her claim of being "GWOAT" and all that. She needs to be humbled, so I hope Marshall wins.

Sexy Shields all the way, everyday. But, if she does loose, I hope it's decisive. Not a close fight she looses on the cards. I can see her going bizirk in the ring if that happened.

An Anthony Joshua type meltdown, or a Serena Williams type meltdown? Or perhaps worse?

Either way, it won't be good. I just don't see her taking a close decision loss well at all. That said, I think Shields wins.

Clarissa is a loudmouth and unintelligible..

Bad combination. The Wilder of women's boxing..
    Except!

    She can't punch.

Clarissa might win this fight on her skill, but hoping for Marshall to knock her out badly

If Shields loses and accepts defeat correctly she already surpasses AJ & Wilder as a champion.

    What?

Granted, both could have conducted themselves a lot better in defeat, but Shields has been competing in a ridiculously shallow pool of 'talent'. She shouldn't be mentioned in a breath with either of those men.

Yeah but if she accepts defeat well and doesn't throw a fit like Wilder or AJ that makes her a better person, regardless of her arrogance.

Its a stacked weekend with some good fights, but this fight in Particular is the biggest fight this weekend and the one im looking foward to the most. Hopefully Shields can get a fair shake.

She'd be representing boxing more graciously, yeah, and upstanding competitive manners are one aspect of being a 'good champion' (like, say, a Sergio Martinez was a good champion).

But the divisions she's cut a swathe through are so deeply crumby that it's hard for me to seriously hail her as a champion in terms of sporting achievement. She's been the least crappy out of an absolute bunch of crap, and now she's finally got to deal with someone who's at least on a level with her.

Wilder and Joshua only really achieved the status of top contenders with paper belts, anyway. There only ever has been him at HW since the day Wlad lost those belts in Düsseldorf (well, since 2008, in truth, because destiny is a thing).
